Not lost. Definitely not lost.

Carrying a textbook and a large yellow lined notepad, Roy is (somewhat grumpily) wandering the various floors of the dormitories, looking for the commonroom, or nearest equivalent.

Despite being a fairly bright boy, he does not stop and simply knock on someone's door for directions. Because bright or otherwise, he's still male. And 99.08% of men/boys/guys do not stop and ask for directions. Ever. (like gravity and bad cafeteria food, this is a truism that spans universes.) The very idea is preposterous and insulting.

EDIT: [Now in the 3rd floor common room]

Unable to sleep, Angela is curled up on the couch in the third-floor common room, watching infomericals and writing in her journal.

"Hi," she calls to Roy. "You can't sleep either?"

Angela tilts her head. "It's this machine that shrink-wraps your food to prevent freezer burn. I have no idea why people can't, like, use baggies, but..." the audience on the TV grows louder. "The people on the show seem really into it."

Angela waves her hand through the air. "No reason. I guess ... just, like, relationship stuff. Nothing interesting."

"What about you?"

"What happened in detention?" Angela asks.

No problem

That's awful," Angela shudders, then thinks of Marty. She hasn't seen him since before he went into detention, almost 24 hours ago. "I had a friend who was in detention, Martin Blank. Did you, like, talk to him or anything?"

[OOC: For 24, read 48. Yeah, I can't count.]

Angela listens thoughtfully. "Yeah, he's the guy the police took during study hall. Thanks."

The infomercial has ended, and an exercise class takes its place on the screen. "My mom did Jazzercise when we were little," Angela says. "It's so doofy looking."

[OOC: Not a problem. I would have let it go earlier, but the fact you'd been in detention tied in well with my relationship plot, so I used it. We could hang out in study hall sometime.]
