Fruits, vegetables, whole grains. A bunch of different kinds of lunchmeats. And a huge box of assorted junk food that's over in the corner since no one's had time to unpack it yet.

[OOC: I once visted (With fam) my Great Grandma in Chicago and she told us she'd make us a snack before dinner. A dining room table full of Tongue, homemade gefilta fish, bagels, lox, pastrami, latka's, matzo ball soup, and a few other things I can't remember. I love Jewish "snack."]

(OOC: OMG, Jewish snacks *are* meals. Wow, home made gefilte fish? Gotta be better than the preprocessed stuff. My husband and I went to my parents' for Easter once, and since it was during Passover, we brought gefilte fish. My dad was gonna suck it up and try some until my husband said, 'Looks just like cat brains, don't you think?" To this day, my dad will not even look at gefilte fish. *giggles*)

That's good. Things were hectic at the start of the school year, though.

I miss my infirmary. And having rank is fine. But taking orders gets to be a bit much after a while, especially when some people are so morally unprincipled as to try and make people who had previously been under their command fix up sandwiches for them. *raspberries*

OOC: Processed kind is fine, especially with good horseradish. But if the homemade is that good, I've gotta find a recipe. I can already make a decent matzo ball soup. My latkes need work, though. I grew up with Italian food, so the Jewish traditionals are new to me. And yeah, my husband rocks. I'd drag him online and introduce him, but he avoids the 'net like the plague.
