Edward glances around the common room, wondering if anyone else will show up. They were going to venture out into the town to see if the Perkolater still existed because, man. Coffee. Most important thing in life. Besides sleep.

Sakura wandered back into the common room, something that looked rather like a flying yellow teddy bear spinning around her head occasionally chanting in a singsong voice "Sweets!". She rolled her eyes, and plucked him out of the air to shoot him an odd look, whispering harshly.

"Kerocchyan, calm down. We don't even know if the coffee shop is still standing."

Edward stared at the yellow thing. Okay, he'd seen weirder things, even discounting the past two days, but still. It was a flying yellow teddy bear. "Uh," he pointed at it wriggling in Sakura's grasp. "What the hell is that thing?"

Sakura paused in her hushed scolding, and looked up, face turning into an :o expression. "...Oh." She smiled, and released Kero, who promptly flew around her head in one rapid circle then hovered near her shoulder, staring at Edward.

"I am Keroberos!!" he shouted, as if it were ludacris that the blond not know who he was. "Guardian of the Seal, Sakura's bodyguard, coo--" Sakura snatched him out of the air again, laughing nervously.

"Heh... this is Kerocchyan," she said simply, shooting a pointed glare at the squirming creature in her hands. Perhaps it hadn't been such a good idea to bring him along, after all...

Roy enters the common room.

"Coffee? Count me in."

"Riiiiiight."

Deciding that it was better not to ask (though he had the strangest urge to poke the flying yellow thing), he nodded his head. "Okay, I guess it's just us, two, er, three, unless someone shows up late. Shall we, then?"

"Oh, even better." Edward waved Mustang over. "We were just on our way out. Say... you don't happen to know if the Perkolater still exists, do ya?"

George pokes her head around the corner. "Did someone here mention coffee? Cuz I'm going through some major caffeine withdrawal."

Roy merely stares at him, as if this were the most absurd question he's ever heard.

"Do I look like I've had coffee this morning?" he asks, looking like he just rolled out of bed. Which was almost entirely accurate.

"Yup, we're heading out." Edward waved to the girl. "Uh, I don't know you. I'm Edward."

"George. Nice to meet you." she replies a little awkwardly. "So. Coffee! You lead, I'll follow blindly."

Roy holds out his hand. "Roy Mustang."

"Maybe you'd ... heard something? Hey, at least you almost didn't get a faceful of gremlin this morning." Edward shudders.

George hesitates a moment before taking Roy's hand in hers and shaking briefly. "Nice to meet you, too, Roy."

Sakura scowled at Kero once more, and let him free to fly around as he saw fit. She smiled and waved to George as well. "I'm Sakura," she said, then passed a look to Roy, as if reiterating the statement of her name to him as well.

Mmmm, I heard you down the hall. Coffee does sound good.

George smiles faintly at Lily. "Hey. You live on my floor, right? I'm in 501."

"It does. Coffee would almost make up for the post-zombie-fighting headache."

"Hi, Sakura." George raises her brows at the sight of the strange creature flying around the Common Room, but says nothing else.

Sakura caught George's look at Kero, and sweatdropped. She probably should have just thought more of bringing something back for him...

"Oh, we've met. Sorta. I used to have this really annoying roommate. Very loud." George yanks on a lock of her own hair. "He had this sort of hair fetish thing going. I warned you about him when I saw you scoping out the floor."

"I agree," Sakura nodded toward Roy, smiling faintly. She wasn't usually one to drink coffee, so taking a shower and she and Edward's earlier run-in with couch gremlins had doen enough to wake her up. She'd also been lucky enough to escape any physical ailments from the Zombie fight.

"That's right! I remember now - George, right?" Lily looks flustered by her own forgetfulness. "Sorry about that. How is your roommate doing?"

"Yeah, George. No biggie. I'm eminently forgettable." George says with a shrug and a smirk. "And Gord? I'm not sure. I went back to Seattle for a cat funeral and when I got back my roommate had disappeared. He left most of his stuff behind, including the computer and the television, so I'm not complaining too loudly."

((OOC: The mun behind my roommate dropped out of the game after the first week. She said she had internet/RL issues and couldn't participate anymore. I was a little bummed because she was a lot of fun to play with, but it's cool that George gets her own dorm room now. ;)))
