East Attic, early that morning
Belthazor's head was still spinning from his weekend confrontations with Piper, Paige, and Maia, and his visits to Inara and Drusilla. His emotions were bouncing wildly all over the place, but one thing seemed certain. He had to see Phoebe. Maybe that would make him get a grip. Or...make it worse.
There'd been no sign of her at school all weekend, but there'd been a single stargazer lily waiting for him at his door when he'd returned to his room Sturday night. There was no card. Was it from Phoebe? He knew stargazers were her favorite, after all. But why would she send him that?
He decided to follow one piece of advise Inara had given him and leave a message for Phoebe. If her roommates Rogue and Kitty were home he'd give it to them, or he'd just slip it under the door. Phoebe, I need to talk to you. - C.
Luckily he didn't have class until the afternoon on Mondays (not that he cared). So first the attic...and then he'd have to see if he could talk his way into the Special Collections at the library. That girl he'd met the other day, what was her name -- Janet? -- she'd said that if he was looking for something for a professor, he might be able to get access. Well, Drusilla was a professor, and he was looking for something for her. Plus he'd shimmered home to get a bribe: coffee from the Underworld. Even demons had caffeine addictions, and they required pretty strong stuff. He wasn't entirely sure what it would do to a human, however.
He headed up to the East Attic and knocked on the door.

Not that it mattered if he managed to find what Drusilla told him about.
"Thanks," he called as Rogue passed out again. A proper evil demon would've left the door standing open, but he closed it for her and headed downstairs for the library.
