Seeing the flowers, Phoebe brings them into her dorm room and sets them up around her usual space.

She's brooding and trying to decide if she should move out of Jayne's house and back into the dorms.

She writes out a quick thank you note to Rogue for both arrangements and then heads down to Journalism.

Flowers? From who? Beka opens the card and finds they're from Rogue. "She's such a sweetheart," Beka says to the empty hallway, before picking up the flowers and arranging them on the table.

Oddly, she's coming to like flowers. They do a lot to brighten the day.
