When Phoebe stops by the dorms, she finds another delivery of black roses waiting for her. This time there is no card, but she believes they are connected to the ones she got at Jayne's place.

Phoebe looks around the halls and then goes inside the attic. She sits on her bed, staring at the gold box.

[You can get very dark red-almost-black roses, but if that site is accurate, there aren't black ones that aren't dyed.]
