The door is open, but Jack doesn't seem aware of it. He's crouched on the ground, staring fixedly at the left leg of his bed.

"I know now. I understand. They've all been trying to make me forget. To keep me away from my destiny. I AM THE CHOSEN ONE. They'd rather kill me than let me achieve my goals."

He stops and stands up suddenly. "I know you're trying to kill me!" he shouts at the top of his lungs.

6 scowled. "If I wanted you dead, Jack, you wouldn't have time to ask me that. Now come off this foolishness at once!"

"No! I know you have the antidote! Where is it?" Jack cocks his head to one side. "Yessss..." he says thoughtfully, in eerie contrast to his frenzied ravings of a moment before. "Maybe I *could* seduce it out of him."

Jack starts running his hands under 6's jacket. "C'mon, lover, you know you don't want me to die." He grabs 6's head and kisses him hard.

Jack runs down the hall and down the steps and down the hall. He knows that voice. It needs to be pinched off like little dead flower heads. He reaches the door of 234/236 and starts pounding on it. Hard.

6 pushes Jack off of him. "ACK! EW!" He starts wiping off his mouth with his jacket sleeve. "Distasteful. Completely distasteful. What in the blazes has gotten into you?"

"WHAT?" Parker yells as she opens the door, sucking on yet another lollipop. "What the *hell* is your problem, Harkness?"

Jack starts dancing around, pointing at him. "Hah! Hah! Poisoned you now! Now you need the antidote too!"

He stops, and turns his head, staring at the doorway to their room. (Lest readers have forgotten, they are standing OUTSIDE the room in the hallway.) "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo," he screams and dives for the Emergency Fire Ax behind glass across the hall. "You can't do that to me!" he yells at the door while beating on the glass, trying to break it with remarkably little success.

"You're eating my brain! Stop it!" Jack bounds into the room and goes to lean out the window. "Can't get my brain now, hah!"

Parker's jaw drops open. "... the hell? Harkness! Cut that out!"

"No, damnit! You can't! I won't let you! Suck *MY* brains, will you? I can hear you inside my brain, spliting into little tendrils and worming around my capilaries. STOP IT!"

6 grabs Jack and slaps him hard across the face. Three times. "Get. a. grip. man. I am not trying to kill you. I have not poisoned you. The door is not your enemy... as far as I can tell."

"GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF MY WINDOW!" Parker shrieks back, then goes over to grab his arm and try to drag him away from the portico. "Have you been smoking gremlin spit!? God! Freak out in your own room!"

"Liar. Liar liar liar liar. I know they want me dead, or stopped. They stole away my memories because they knew what I knew that they knew that I knew..." Jack trails off.

Suddenly he begins tearing off his clothes. "Ack! Get it off me! Ack, ack!" He dumps his shirt on the ground and rubs his arms before attacking the fly of his jeans. "Get it off, get it off, get it OFF!"

Jack turns when Parker grabs his arm, jerking her against him. Three guesses whose reflexes are actually faster.

Parker's had her ass kicked once today, and that was fun, but twice? No. Thanks.

Parker lets him jerk her forward-- and then follows it with an hard elbow thrust to his jaw, all of her body weight behind it.

Jack gurgles, then drops like a stone. A very naked stone, for the record.

The fist connected and Jack slammed into the wall. Luckily, the wall was rubber and bounced him back across the hall into the other wall -- which bounced him back across again.

Parker regards the unconscious male body on her floor in disgust. Cute, yes, extremely so, but oh, the annoying and insane of it.

"Get. Up."

She toes him a little, then leans over and slaps his face.

"Harkness! I am not carrying your freaked-out ass up a flight of stairs! Wake up, damn you!"

Nada.

"Perfect. Juuust... perfect."

Completely refusing to deal with this, Parker drops an extra comforter over him, and goes to bed.

She'll deal with him in the morning. Oh yes. She will.
