Outside Room 304 - Early Morning

After his late night phone call, Marty sneaks up to the third floor and leaves a package outside of Room 304 with a note addressed to Angela.

The package contains:
An old hardback copy of "The Diary of Anne Frank".
A 45 record of "Blister in the Sun"
And a necklace made of string and macaroni.

And a note:

Angela,

I think I finally get it now. I'm sorry that it took so long for me to figure it out. I shouldn't have done what I did the other night and I promise that I won't make it any harder for you than it already is. I still have feelings for you, but I'll do my best to put them aside for the sake of our friendship.

These things? They're yours, not mine. There's no point trying to deny that or what happened between us. Keep them.

Love,
Your friend,
Marty
