Second Floor Common Room

Janet and Sam wander out with a DVD of The Lost Boys to watch on the TV in the common room. The put it in, settle down with popcorn, and start watching.

Elizabeth glances across at Sam as she enters the room. "Want to hear about her and Jack in Advanced Negotiations?" she asks, grinning wickedly.

"Well, there's not that much," Elizabeth pouts. "They were being remarkably well-behaved. There was the waving... and the goofy Sam-smile when he came in. And then they were throwing notes at each other... which she wouldn't let me read," she grins.

Sam grins back. Thank God. "I don't remember...were you around the time he died at that Chinese restaurant in Denver? That's what we were talking about. Or the time Jack had a 37 million dollar piece of equipment blown up because he didn't listen to Daniel and I. A fun debriefing that was not."

"Speaking of Daniel...how's he? I saw him yesterday, but not much since."

Janet absolutely and completely doesn't know who to blame. At all. And couldn't be bribed into giving up the information. Easily.

"Wait, with the stealth ninja chopsticks?" asks Janet. She starts to laugh. "Didn't he go facedown in the egg drop soup? My blouse was ruined. And it was silk! Debriefing? Hell, Jack's time at the infirmary clinic was one of his crankiest times ever. Poor guy got beaten up by midgets. He swore for his whole week there that they were the Lollipop Gang."
