Sawyer can be seen brooding on the couch of the common room, he's pissed at all the kids that have a Parent or even a Guardian to be here this weekend. Antisocialism is awesome.

"Meow."

"What do you want, mangy thing?" he eyes the cat from his comfortable position on the couch.

"Hey." Sydney says approaching him. "Mind if I hang out here for awhile?"

Faithful is absolutely tired from being ignored for two months. "I am not mangy!"

Sawyer nearly chokes as he scoots up on the couch, clutching his book for dear life. "Good Lord! Son of a Bitch!" is all he could get out. A talking cat, oh god, a talking cat.

"No problemo, baby mama." he moves his legs to give her enough room, an eye studying her from behind his book.

Sydney takes a seat. "This whole parent's weekend thing has got me down."

He chuckles as he turns a page sharply, "You ain't the only one, darlin'." he pops his head out from his book, "My parents are dead." he says simply and goes back to the book infront of him.

"My dad is the Dean." Sydney says simply.

Faithful stared at Sawyer with his oddly purple eyes. "I'm sure you've seen worse in this school."

"Oooh, baby, did you catch my attention." he sets down his book and gives her a smug look.

"How the--What the--" he shakes his head, hoping it's the hyperopia messing with his vision and hearing and brain at the same time, if that could ever happen.

Faithful sighed. "How about you feed me, and pretened I never talked? Meow?"

"Yeah, it's kind of weird. We don't talk much so I guess it's okay." Syd says. "But I definitely don't want to be around all these...happy families, you know?"

He glances from the ~~freaky~~ talking cat to the food beside him, he shakily hands the cat some, "Soooo." is all he could get out, after popping a cigarette in his mouth, "You don't mind, do ya?"

Faithful happily begins to eat. "You smoking? You pretending I don't talk? Or that my mistress left me for two months with an idiot who forgot I existed most of the time and is now too busy running around to feed me?"

He shifts his postion on the couch so that he's closer to her, ~~there's nothing wrong with comforting a hot mother~~, "I know what ya mean, darlin'. Lost my a while ago, these ones just make me sick."

"I'm just hoping to the good Lord that this is a dellusion in my brain from som weird cancer. Other than that, keep talking." he chuckles under his breath as he lights the cigarette, he looks frustrated and antsy as he does so.

Faithful licked a paw and went back to munching. "Do you know a student named Alanna who goes here?"

"It's idiotic I know, since soon I'll be a mother myself..." Sydney says. "Nice to talk to someone who isn't into all this too."

"That you will"-- he clutches his cigarette packet in one hand --"And I'm guessing this isn't a great idea." he stuffs them back in his jean pocket and glances over at her, "My girl, has her Grams or somethin' here at school...Don't really want to be near her at the moment." he grimaces.

He shakes his head as he takes in a large amount of smoke and blows it up into the air above them, "No one I know by that name. She hasn't banged me, fucked me or fucked me up. So, no, don't know her."

Faithful glances up from his meal and glares at Sawyer. "I should hope she doesn't fall into any of those categories. Who are you by the way?" And he goes back to his food.

Sydney nods. "You have a girlfriend? That's nice." she says smiling, masking the grief she is feeling over the loss of Vaughn.

He chuckles half-heartedly, "Hardly. She ain't attached to me one bit. Open relationship an' all." he grins and fidgets with his books edges.
