::A blast of flame shoots from the inside of Locker 327 and a small, angry, purple dragon bursts out through the hole it leaves behind. He flies down the hall at top speed, furious and determined.::

Angela is oblivious to the flame -- and to Lockheed -- as she walks down the school hall.

She's too busy fidgeting with her wig and angel wings.

But despite the discomfort, she has to admit, it's a damn good costume.

"Do you think I should've gone with something sexier?" Rory asks, holding up a plait. "I mean, is Dorothy too innocent, d'you think?"

"You're asking the girl dressed like an angel?" Angela laughs. "You look great. Innocent, but ... it's sexy on you. Really."

Rory laughs. "It's too bad Marty couldn't make it. His eyes would pop out and then just lie there on the floor. I'm really happy for you guys, by the way."

::Lockheed spots Rory in the hallway. He turns abruptly to the left and flies circles around her, frantically puffing small blasts of smoke.::

"Lockheed?" Rory asks, startled. "What are you doing?"

She looks around for Kitty.

"Thanks," Angela says. "I kind of ... like his eyes where they are, though"

She shrugs. "I'll miss him at the party, but I guess the security thing comes first."

"Isn't that Kitty's dragon?" Angela asks.

"Kitty?" she calls down the hall.

::Lockheed continues circling her, trying communicate something. Kitty is nowhere in sight.::

"Kitty?" Rory shouts, looking either way. "I don't think she's here, Ange."

She holds out an arm to Lockheed so he can land. "Hey, Lockheed - c'mon, what's going on?"

"I think you're right. Maybe Lockheed escaped somehow? We should call her and tell her he's down here."

Angela twists her hands as she watches Rory talk to the dragon.

::Lockheed lands on Rory's arm and mutters anxious, worried noises at her. Smoke curls from his mouth and nostrils.::

Rory glances at Angela. "Do you know where Kitty is right now? Because I think something's wrong. And I don't know what he's trying to tell me."

Angela shakes her head. "Not at all. I haven't seen her in a couple days.

She pulls her cell phone out of her bag and makes a quick call.

"It went to voice mail. Maybe she just decided to leave him here while she's at the Halloween party?" Angela's stomach is sinking. She knows Kitty rarely leaves Lockheed alone.

::Lockheed shakes his head frantically.::

Rory shakes her head. "Last time I saw her was Thursday night. But I don't actually run into her that often anyway. But...I've never seen her without Lockheed."

She frowns, biting her lip. "Do you think there's someone besides Kitty who can talk to him?"

Angela chews on a thumbnail, thinking. "I don't know. Maybe Hank McCoy? But he's not a dragon. Zero is taking cat, but I don't think that would help her with a dragon."

"Plus, everybody is at the Halloween party already."

"Yeah..." Rory nods, looking at Lockheed. "Hey! What about the psychic-type people? They might be able to, y'know see in his head or something."

"That's Phoebe or Maia, right?" Angela asks. She stoops, looking into Lockheed's eyes. "Could a psychic talk to you, Lockheed?"

::Lockheed tilts his head, unsure. He whimpers.::

"Phoebe and Maia are probably at the party, though," Rory says, shaking her head.

"The only other one I can think of is Professor Dream. I think he's kind of psychic. And he wouldn't go to the party. At least," she looks slightly bewildered at the thought, "I can't picture him at a party."

"He's the one who ran that detention that really freaked Marty out, right?" Angela gulps. "But Parker told me he wasn't so bad."

"I guess it's worth checking his office, anyhow."
