Outside room 305
After her journey through the park, Chloe heads upstairs to Rory's room, and knocks on the door. When no one answers, she realizes that she saw Rory heading out of the park in a different direction. Obviously, she hadn't come back yet.
She opens her backpack and takes out the gun, still wrapped in the sweatshirt, and a piece of paper. She scribbles a quick note:
Rory,
Hey, you left this in the park. I figured you might want it back! Hopefully, you won't need to use it for anything.
and leaves it on top of the gun, which she places right in the corner of the doorway, where Rory won't be able to miss it. Satisfied with her good deed of the day, she zips her bag up and heads back downstairs to her own room.
