[2nd Floor Common Area - early evening]
Krycek sits on the couch, flipping channels idly as he waits for Jake to come back. It's been a good day so far, what with the birthday surprises, and he's quite cheerful.
"How many channels and there's still nothing on?" He shakes his head, continuing to surf.
[ooc: Anyone's welcome to jump in and poke at him, if they like.]

"Hey. Heard it was your birthday. Many happy returns, and all that. Have a lollipop."
She is carrying the TV-B-Gone in case someone lands on a channel she doesn't like, a handful of lollipops, and the Zombie Survival Guide.

"Ahh, of course. Birthday boy." She grins, then leans forward. "Thing is, how mad do you think your guy and the pirate would be, if I played one last prank on Echolls before I gave him his key back? Nothing dangerous. Just a lot of yelling probable."

"Got something for you. Heard it was your birthday."
The shoebox sized package sits rather ominously on the table.

Arching an eyebrow, he grins slightly at the idea of mischief in the name of annoying Logan. "Jake would probably love you for it. Barbossa? It'd probably depend on whether it meant no one'd be replacing the jam. So what's the idea?"

[[ooc: the foil is baklava that Han made in cooking class. There are about 4 holocubes--your choice of content--and a player of his own.]]

Today is just full of interesting surprises.

Placing the cake on a table, she takes out a few candles. She has no idea how old Krycek is so after a few moments of deliberation she makes a large K with them. She then lights the K and tucks her lighter back into her pocket.

"Happy Birthday."

When she walks over with the cake, he laughs, shaking his head a little in disbelief. He's rarely had one cake on his birthday, much less two. The cake with its flaming K is set down on the coffee table and he gives her a delighted look. "So what's all this about?"

"I looked up 'birthday traditions' this morning. The page said something about cake, so I got one from Deb's." D flops down on the couch next to him. "She told me I had to put candles on the cake and light themandsingbeforeyoublewthemout," she finishes the last part really quick, sort of hopping Alex will be too distracted by the candles to pick up on it.

"Everything from Deb's is good, so far. She's a nice lady." D'anna cringed a little at his question and a blush began to rise on her cheeks. Frak me, he listens too well. "There's a whole song?"
no subject
Grinning mischievously, he watches her blush with almost malicious enjoyment. "And a dance."
no subject
Her eyebrows shoot up, "D-d-dance?" I hate Earth. So much. Stupid fraking... eyes wide, she swallows, "there's a dance too?"
no subject
The mischievous look returns as he nods, just barely solemn enough to maybe be convincing. "Yep. Though you really just make it up as you go, depending on how you feel about the person who you're dancing for." He looks expectant. "I can sing the song, if you want to just handle the dance."
no subject
D'anna is vaguely terrified but she tries to not show it. She blinks and stands up. Right, I can do this. I can. Really. "Alright. Tell anyone and I'll have to hurt you."
no subject
"Oh, sure. No telling, got it." Sitting back, he gestures for her to begin as he takes a deep breath to begin singing in a passable tenor. "Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me--"
no subject
D'anna rolls her eyes and blushes more. She sways back and forth and turns around once. The inside of her hat-brim must be incredibly interesting because she doesn't look anywhere else the whole time. She in no way looks like she'd like to hide inside a D'anna sized box for the rest of the night. Nope. Not at all. Really.
