Paige notices him "he's friendly don't worry, I can pick him up if he bothers you," she offers

Just keep him from jumping up on me. I like cats fine... unfortunately... well, they kill me. From a distance, you know?

Paige raises an eyebrow but goes to pick the kitten up "Right ok, you've not met the cats from Home Ec have you? They have weapons apparently, but despite the name Lancelot here can't use a sword! So you know you should be safe but I'll keep hold of him"

No... that's not it. It's a dander thing. Allergies. Like I said, I like them fine, but I can't get too close to them.

And really, do I look like the home ec sort? Though to see kittens armed to the teeth, you might convince me to try to sew curtains. But just once.

Paige looks concerned "Oh right sorry yeah of course, but you know in this place there could be killer kittens in theory right? I can put him in my room or take him down to James to look after if you'd like. I'd rather not kill a fellow student cos that's got to you a detention right?"

Paige thinks a moment "shit! I'd totally forgotten for a second, god how insensitive I am?"

S'alright. I didn't know Kitty. (wow, the irony around here is unbelievable) I'm bummed that something happened to anyone around here, but for me... it's a news story, you know?

Killer kittens in this place would so not surprise me. And your buddy over there is fine... as long as he stays over there. I meant what I said before, just make sure he doesn't jump up on me. You don't want to know what happened when I got a cat hair in my eye once.

With the deluge of small animals around here, I wonder if anyone would notice me getting a ferret or two.

I didn't know her either, we met once, but well still better not to make jokes about killing students right? *she shrugs holding onto the cat tightly*

I don't think they would you know, from what I've heard lots of student have pets, I don't know if we're meant to, but well it's too late now.

Yeah he's called Lancelot, Sawyer named him and it sort of fit we thought, also the only name I came up with was Gahan and it didn't really suit him much

*shakes head a few times trying to make sense out of most of what Piper said. Decides it doesn't really make sense and just shrugs*

See now, this is just a thing... I've been known to forget a significant other for a day or so and when *I* did it, it was just blamed on me being a guy.

Weirdest thing The Gene has caused... um... I can fly spacecraft with my thoughts because of it. I can use computer systems no one else can. Oh! And I can launch and control missles with my thoughts. And I can talk to an ancient city through a chair.

*flips channels until he finds Sci Fi. It's an incredibly bad movie about Pterodactyls.*

*Paige smiles* That sounds pretty cool, I have the power of telekenesis which I guess is kinda similar to the thing you have to able to fly planes and seriously in this place I'd believe anything so no I don't think you're making it up at all! Oh and when I forgot my now ex boyfriend I was under a spell

*she loves at the Tv* Well this looks good! *she says sarcastically

It has its upsides. But sometimes it's a pain in the ass. It got me shipped off to somewhere I never expected to be just because I could make things go all glowy. I mean, I sort of had a choice but ~~O'Neill~~ someone basically told me I was scum if I didn't give them access to my oh-so-cool-genetic-structure.

Erm I have no idea what a Wraith Stunner is, but I could move, that was the problem and moved to someone else lips, who as it turns out I'm now in love it so I guess that worked out ok. And I'm sorry you got sent away that really sucks.

*she flicks the TV onto VH1 Classic and grins* Greatest hits of Depeche Mode! Excellent!

It's the military. You get sent where you get sent. Mostly. This was... way outside the realm of 'normal AF posting', so I kind of had a choice. But you know, I was pretty much told what choice to make.
