At room 306

After meeting with someone at the Perk today, Jack is confused. Somehow, in a blink of an eye, the weather went from September-cool to really, really cold and snow on the ground.

Shaking his head, Jack heads for his dorm room. Classes are just starting up, but he wants to get a jump on things.

But when he reaches room 306, none of his things are to be found. He drops his bookbag and scans both sides of the room. Nope, nothing of his.

"What the hell is going on here?" he demands.

What's Going On:
Jack's memory has been wiped back to Sept. 8th. As such, if you met him before that date (first couple days of classes, etc.) he'll know you. But he won't remember anyone after, and he won't remember anything that's happened after.

Angela was stopping by her room when she heard what sounded like shouting from the room next door. Peering out into the hall, she noticed a student she vaguely recognized from around campus who seemed to be very, very upset.

"You're Jack, right?," she asked tentatively. "Is everything okay?"

Jack tries to moderate his scowl, because she looks nice and he doesn't want to alienate anyone his first week of school. "Someone stole all my stuff!"

Heading upstairs towards Room 226, Vala hears what sounds like the tail end of a big fight up ont he third floor. Frowning, she ignores it, until she nearly runs into Jack stumbling down the stairs, looking like a mess.

Jack almost bounces off of some dark-haired girl with blonde streaks in her hair. The hormones automatically register, 'hottie!' and he manages to pull her name from his brain. "You're Vala, right?"

But he's not really paying attention, because someone's messing with him.

Callisto wandered into 306, planning on grabbing her practice swords and going for a quick training session in the gym before sociology. She stopped when she saw Harkness. "Excuse me?"

"They did?" Angela says, instantly alarmed. "Do you think it was Six or Callisto?"

She can believe they would be the types.

"Uh, yeah, have been all semester, Jack." She frowns at him.

"Who's Callisto? I wouldn't put anything past Six. Do you know this morning I got caught in one of his crazy traps (http://www.livejournal.com/users/time_agent/2005/09/08)?" He tilts his head and considers her. "I don't think we've met. Jack Harkness. I'm usually a little cooler under fire than this," he adds with a roguish grin.

"Excuse me what?" Jack's still turning in circles in the room, looking around him.

"Hey, cut me a break. I met you two days ago. Not that you're not memorable," he assures her. "There's no one at school who looks quite like you, I'm sure."

"Hah, hah, Jack," Vala rolled her eyes at him. "Careful or I'll have Aeryn shoot you in the ass again."

"What are you doing in my room, Harkness?" Callisto crossed her arms. "Did Six invite you up?"

"Callisto's kind of hard to miss -- she's that blonde chick who used to werar all the leather and has some weird thing for Angel," Angela says. "And I didn't know Six was still setting traps. I'm just surprised I haven't run into any all semester."

She takes the proffered hand. "Angela Chase. I can't believe there are still people at this school I haven't met."

"That sounds... painful. I'd rather not do that at all, let alone 'again'." Jack eyes her oddly. "Who's Aeryn?"

"Your room? Unless 6 acts a lot faster than I expected -- which he totally should given your general hotness level -- this is MY room."

"Jack, this isn't funny!" Vala hissed, pulling him to one side. "It's one thing to fake forgetting the Time Agency," she whispered, "but don't go acting like an ass about it. We're trying to not attract attention here!"

Jack looks startled. "How the hell do you know about the Time Agency?" he hisses beneath his breath.

Jack smiles. "Nice to meet you. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's only, what, the second? third day?"

Vala looks just as startled back. "You're kidding, right? That's the part you're not supposed to remember!" She looks worried. "You haven't gotten bitten by gremlins since I saw you this morning, have you?"

"Bitten by what? Saw you when? I don't think we have any classes together, so I'm not sure where you would have seen me." Jack sighs in frustration. "Is everyone here but me completely insane?"

Angela blinks a couple times, then laughs, deciding it's a joke she just didn't quite get. "Ha. I wish. Then I wouldn't have like, a zillion finals to get ready for."

"Yes, my room, I have the transfer forms and everything, " Callisto neglected to mention she still had to get Six to sign the form to make it offical. "I've been here for a couple of weeks now."

Jack grins at her. "Oh, you're one of those. You know, the sort who starts worrying about finals at the beginning of the year. I have to admit that when it comes to schoolwork I am a last-minute type."
