4th Floor Common Room - Fri Evening

He'd promised Lana he'd go caroling with her that evening, but he wasn't rushing out to find her so they could leave. Instead Shep is hiding in plain sight, playing Sims in the common room.


[come hang out, but don't be surprised if Lana decides to drag convince you to go caroling too, once she finds Shep.]

Lana comes in, all smiles. "Hey you. Oh! The Sims! Am I there?" She sits down nect to him on the couch, and kisses him briefly before turning her attention to the screen.

"Hey trouble," he kisses her back and angles the computer so she can see it. "Yep, right there - the one with the braids."

Lana grins. "And what am I doing? And dare I ask who am I doing it with?"

Arguing with that blonde chick. who may or may not accidently look like someone who annoyed the crap out of me this week.

"How funny." Lana watches the characters for a moment, very amused.

"So, ready to go caroling?" She grins at him.

I don't suppose saying 'no' will have any effect on what happens next, will it?

"Not particularly," she said brightly. "But if you're not quite ready to go I can wait."

Let me just go put the computer away and get my jacket. *sighs*

She catches him as he stands up, looking very serious all of a sudden, "If you really don't want to go... I can go on my own."

"But I'd really *like* you to come and..." she takes the laptop out of his hands and sets it down for a moment before moving into his arms and stretching up to kiss him again, "I really will make it worth your while later."

"I know, I know..." he kisses her back. "Just keep reminding me why I agreed to this periodically, okay?"

"Well, *that* certainly won't be a hardship," she giggles. "And it will be fun. Really."

She moves away from him reluctantly, then smiles again. "Okay, let's get your coat. And a hat. And mittens. And maybe a scarf. Can you tell I'm a little excited about this?"

"And when you're done I'm gonna end up looking like Ralphy's little brother."

But he smiled as he picked up his computer and took Lana's hand as he headed for his dorm room to suit up for this misadventure.
