Second floor common room, Monday afternoon

Aeryn likes to be left alone when she's in a bad mood, but at times like this she's slightly annoyed by the quiet. Even she can only spend so much time in the gym when she's bored, so Aeryn camps out in front of the television, watching the occasional court show and lowering her opinion of the human race in general.

At one point, she goes back to her room to retrieve the Nerf gun. Shooting at stupid people on TV actually helps.

"Yo," Cameron greets and watches Aeryn shoot at the television. "Okay, what did the television do to you?"

"You might be on to something," Cameron says amused and plops down in the armchair.

"It was nice." And it's not a lie, because he had fun despite of the set backs. "How was your first Christmas?"

He notices the movement and smiles. "That's good. It's one of our best holidays. I take it there weren't any invading zombie elves then?"

Cameron blinks. "That must be some strong ambrosia," he chuckles and shakes his head at the image. "I don't suppose there's any left?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:42 pm (UTC)(link)
"Ah yes," Cameron nods. "It's a whole lot less formal than christmas, though. Most people just go to a party, get drunk and then kiss people when it turns midnight."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:46 pm (UTC)(link)
"There will be absolutely no getting drunk and kissing people at midnight for me," announces Anders, poking his head into the common room. "None. At least, not random people."

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Cameron laughs. "No one said you have to make out, a kiss on the cheek will do too."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
"Also much more aliveness," he agrees.

"Hey, Mitchell, you're back already?" Anders tosses him a gumball and leans against the doorframe. "And I dunno about that, either. I could still get my ass kicked for it."

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:52 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh, come on. Kissing people on New Year is perfectly normal," Cameron shrugs. "It's like kissing someone on the cheek in greeting. There's nothing wrong with it."

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
"Got back this morning," Cameron pops the gumball in his mouth. "So you'll get your ass kicked if I kiss you on the cheek and wish you a happy new year?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
"No," Cameron shakes his head. "Mistletoe can get serious. Well, so can New Year if you do it with the right person but it's... tradition."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Anders just stares at Cameron for a minute. "Uh. Buh. Um. By you? I dunno."

He kind of wonders whether Cally would get upset, or if for some bizarre reason she might like it.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"Dude, it's not like I'm lusting after your ass." He rolls his eyes.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 09:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"I suppose, but it's really a more free for all celebration. If you'd rather stay home and do nothing, that's fine too. I wonder if anyone's going to throw a party."

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-12-26 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's definitely a big thing," Cameron nods. "It's just that it seems to be very quiet around here lately. You and Anders are the first people I've run in to since I got here."
