Pip had donned his millitary coat to protect him against the cold. It is not warm out on the roof.
But he has promised he would. And he did not break promises. He lived up to his word.
He had burnt the CD on his computer earlier that day and had borrowed a stereo. Now it was just a matter of waiting for Maia to show up. He wraps his red scarf around his neck a little tighter and tries not to shiver.
