First Floor Lobby [Sunday Night] SLIP N' SLIDE!

An idle mind is a dangerous thing. An idle, bored mind is even more dangerous. When a person with an idle, bored mind has a slip n' slide? Well, that's even worse.

Hence, the bright blue slip n' slide is now unfurled in the first floor lobby. There's a hose connected to a bathroom and there's water flowing.

Bathing suits? Sure. Clothing? Sure. Just no naked.

Rory wandered down to the lobby, bored.

"Hi, John. Why is there a slip n' slide?"

"I was bored," John explains and backs up slowly before taking a running start and flopping on the slip n' slide. He slides down and ends up in a heap at the end. "It's fun! Try it!"

Chloe comes into the lobby and comes to a complete stop at the sight of the slip n' slide. "The hell?" she mutters.

John, having take his first slide already, runs back by Chloe, dripping wet. He flings water a bit.

"Chloe! Wanna slide? This way we get the fun of water without the cold of winter!"

"You cannot possibly be serious!" Chloe eeps a little at getting splashed.

Anakin walked down to the lobby, thinking of heading to the gym.

He stopped.

And blinked.

"The hell?"

"Serious as cartoons," John says, nodding. He wriggles some more water off. "C'mon, you can go first. I'll make sure you don't fall off or anything."

Rory stared. And finally shrugged, and said, "Okay, back in a minute."

She disappeared for a few moments before returning in a (very modest, thankyoumuchly) bathing suit and pair of board shorts. She was also carrying a stack of fluffy baby blue towels - because really, someone had to be practical.

"Anakin!" John waves from where he's trying to convince Chloe to slide. "Buddy, wanna take a turn?"

"What is it?" He looked at the slide, then at John, then at Chloe.

Then he saw Rory in her bathing suit.

There might have been a moment of gawking, but he recovered pretty quicky.

"That's the spirit," John says, taking another turn on the slide, this time on his rear. "Whoooo!"

"Called a slip n' slide," John explains. "You get a running start and then slide down. It's fun. Good exercise too!"

Anakin raised an eyebrow. "Uh-huh."

"I am not going down this thing fully dressed...but I think I have a bathing suit up in my room." Chloe smirks. "I'll be back in a few minutes," she says, disappearing up the stairs.

"It's fun!" Rory said encouragingly, having turned an interesting shade of puce. She self-consciously crossed her arms around herself without thinking about it. "And very out-of-season, which is more fun."

"C'mon man," John says, flinging off his wet shirt and dropping it accidentally on Anakin's shoes. "Show off those muscles!"

"Rory, when'd you get a sunburn?" Because, wow, red all the sudden.

Rory stared at John like a staring thing that stares.

"You sound like Richard Simmons," she said to cover her shock. Sort of.

"Sweet!" While watching Chloe walk away, John takes another trip down the slide. The carpet of the lobby is getting very wet.

"I'm like, glow-in-the-dark pale. I blush for no reason!" Rory protested, blushing more and picking up a towel to drape around her shoulders because, wow, suddenly really cold. Really. So cold. Needing more clothes cold. Yup.

His bag swung over his shoulder, Cameron hopped down the last few steps on the stairs. He blinked as he nearly landed right on top of the slip n' slide and cursed as he lost his footing on a slippery patch of tiled floors.

Anakin grinned at her.

This outfit of hers might be better than leather pants.

He was certain he'd need to see the pants in order to form an informed opinion, though.

"Who?" Anakin said, even more confused.

He was almost certain he was overdressed, though, so he removed his robe and dropped it on a chair.

Then the outer tunics, leaving him in drawstring pants and his undershirt. And boots.

He shrugged, then sat down to tug his boots off. "Someone show me how this is done?"

"Dude, ha!" John points and laughs.

"Really, really weird guy. Very, very gay. You don't want to know," Rory replied, pulling the towel she had picked up more tightly around her shoulders and totally not looking at Anakin. "Okay, so you sort of leap onto it from that end, and the water and your momentum keep you sliding along. It's fun."
