Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday afternoon

Walter and Pup surveyed the common room. After catching Pippi's last message, he'd decided to come see what his new pet had done.

It appeared that the common room needed more than just a new TV, it also needed a new floor lamp. He'd better get that taken care of quickly before there was another superball war.

He sat down on the couch and held Pup up in front of his nose. "No more chasing monkeys through the dorms, do you hear me?"

Pup whined and stuck his tongue up Walter's nose.

On her way down from the roof, having checked up on the Viper, Cally swings by the fifth floor common room to see if anyone was around.

When she sees the hellpuppy, Cally blinks a few times. She'd seen some freaky things since coming to Fandom High. But this... this took the cake.

"What is that?" she asks from the doorway, her curiosity having triumphed over her apprehension.

Walter looked up and gave Pup's new new ID tag (http://pics.livejournal.com/walter_n_wires/pic/000035w6) a tug to make sure it was firmly attached before letting the squirming hellpuppy down off his lap.

"Hellpuppy. His name's Pup. I think he needs obedience training, though."

He watched the yapping ball of fuzz run across the room to the doorway and shrugged. "A gift from home."

A new person! Someone new! Pup squirmed frantically until Walter finally let him down and raced across the room to the new person, yapping his excitement and stopping at her feet to give her the uberwag that seemed to make people forget the extra glowing red eyes.

Cally looks down at Pup and blinks a few times. However kinda creepy it seemed, that tail wagging was pretty darn cute... and Cally's the one who attempted to play with a gremlin. She bends down and starts petting Pup's back.

"From home, huh?" she asks Walter. "Where is home, that you have dogs with... erm, extra eyes?"

Walter watches Pup to be sure he's behaving and shakes his head. "London, but you won't find hellpuppies wandering around just anywhere." Thank God.

"He's harmless unless you're a floor lamp or a monkey, apparently."

Pip skipped up the stairs after the movie in town and her some yapping. He looked into the room. "Hey Walter, is that the thing Togusa's had around latetly?"

Boring talking, but she's petting, so pup isn't complaining. Instead he flops flat on the floor and gives her a look that promises that he'll be adorable even when he's savaging her shoes and looking for pikes upon which to impale them.

"Yeah, he was pupsitting for me while Victor and I went out. I didn't know what sort of trouble he'd be." He looks around at the broken floor lamp and damaged television.

"Apparently more than a little."

Cally scritches behind Pups ears and sits down in front of it. Sure, eight eyes are kinda freaky, but she was already getting used to it.

"London is here on Earth, right? Like... England? Forgive my ignorance, I'm not from here, and I'm still not used to Earth geography."

"Well, it apparently makes up for it by being obnoxiously cute," Pip said. "Got a name, does it?"

Alright, at least she hadn't tried to deny its existence...

"Earth geography? Where are you from?" He's met a variety of unusual people, but he hasn't talked with anyone about being an alien before.

Pup is doing some of the most disgustingly adorable things known to dog. Alucard would be appalled.

"Pup. Short, simple, and hopefully nothing that will bring out the hell part of the hellhound in him." Walter watched Pup doing his best to wrap Cally around his paw.

"So, partner-in-crime, can I enlist you for a bit of redecorating later tonight?"

"'Course. Who's room are we redecorating and are we redecorating it with hand grenades?"

"Oh, I'm from Oasis, on Caprica." Cally looks up from Pup and smiles. "Which, yeah, another planet and stuff. But, like, I'm totally the same as people from here. We just have spaceships. That's really the only big difference."

She then realizes she hasn't even introduced herself. "Oh, I'm Cally, by the way."

"Two whos and those two are John Crichton and Lee Adama and no hand grenades, just red, white, and blue paint."

"Walter. I actually live on the third floor, but I wanted to see what Pup had been up to up here last night."

He's trying to get used to these strange new ideas. Vampires? Check. Not a blink for those. Mutants? Check. Can't be dating one without getting used to the idea. Aliens? Not so much so...

"So, you flew here in a spaceship? Do they have an airport for spaceships somewhere around here?" Stranger things seemed to happen around here.

Pup is jealous that Walter's getting the attention of this human. Since she's sitting down, he jumps up onto her lap, licking at her face and sticking his tongue up her nose because puppies like to share their puppy breath really, really, really up close.

"Ahhh," Pip responded. "It's about that is it? Sure, I'm up for it. Think we'll have any extra paint left?"

"I'll make sure there'll be extra if there's any painting you think you'll need to do. Is it a safe bet that you won't be painting the stars and stripes on anyone's door, wall, or forehead?"

Pip raised a critical eyebrow as he lit a cigarette. "I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear that," he said. "I only need enough for one door."

"Ooof. Hi Pup." Cally giggles and scrunches her face just a little as Pup gets so up close and personal. "I sorta came here in a spaceship. I remember getting on one, and then I fell asleep, and then I woke up and I was here, with all my bags and stuff. Kinda handwavey weird, I guess, but I just figure I had been sleepy."

She tries to pull Pup off her a little, just because puppy slobber up the nose is not the most pleasant thing in the world. "Erf. Down boy?"

Yay for adventure. Anders doesn't really make it up to the fifth floor very often, since he doesn't really have any reason to, but hey, people actually live here now.

He pokes his head in to see Cally and a couple of people he doesn't know, and . . . whoa, eight-eyed puppy?

"Hey," he says, leaning against the doorframe. "I must miss out on some interesting stuff, never coming up here."

"I can arrange that. It shouldn't take long. I just need to run down to the Emporium to pick up the paint. Enough red, white, and blue for two doors worth of Union Jacks and one door of... the Tricolore?

"Late tonight? Hopefully after they're drunk or," he smirks, referring to their radio broadcast of a few nights ago, "shagging each other."

Molly was bored sitting in her room pretending to study so she finally dragged herself and her books down to the common room.

She stopped when sh noticed the damage to the room. "Whoa! What happened in here?"
