POWER OUTAGE!

The storm is getting worse again. The winds are increasing and the snow coming down is very heavy and wet.

Shortly before sunset the power goes out all over the island. A few minutes later, the lights in the school and the dorms come back on. They aren't as bright and they flicker a bit at first, but they remain on.

In 504 Pippi looked up from her stock of her "more snow then is fun" kit that she put together at the emporium earlyer in the day... She had rather thought America was the land of sunshine...

Parker is cuddling Esme in her room, and she glares up at the ceiling for a moment, then goes back to cursing Jarod and consoling her poor pet as best she can.

Shivering in room 201, Anders makes a note to get Ed extra cupcakes or something for fixing the window before this freak cold snap kicked in. Still, it's cold enough that he's piling up extra towels and sheets in the window in a desperate attempt at extra insulation.

"Whoa, frak me!" he yelps as the lights go out. When they come back on, he peers cautiously through the still-unblocked top half of the window; he can see that suddenly the town seems a lot darker.

"Aw, this can't be good," he mutters. So much for Official Date Night . . .
