Very Late Friday night: Road trip to the Front Doors

The pajama clad group of girls - led by Lana, the Pajama Warrior and her Blanket of Doom - head through the dorms towards the front doors to check out the storm.

The Pajama Lieutenant, Kiki, comments, "I feel like we should be singing some sort of rousing march as we go, you know?"

"Still say we could have just looked out the window..." mutters Susan, trailing a little way behind the others. She has no pajamas, and is wearing a black hooded cloak over her nightgown, and incongruous blue socks.

Lana laughs. "I don't know of any Pajama Marching songs. Maybe we could sing 'The Ducks go marching two by two, hurrah! Hurrah'?" She's well wrapped in her blanket and feeling a bit punchy.

"We're not declaring war on anyone, are we?" asks Jessica with a concerned expression, cocking her head slightly.

"True, but if we decide we need to feel the snow..." Lana says thoughtfully, "We wouldn't be able to. And we just might - make sure it's real and all. This is Fandom after all!"

"War... well... no. I think the Pajama Warriors work best as a secret society." Lana said, trying to maintain a serious expression and failing miserably.

Susan grins. "Yeah, I know. But it's four flights of stairs. I just climbed up them, and now I'm going back down. Excuse me for grumbling a little."

Jessica nudges Chiana, completely oblivious to her previous comment. "Isn't this just the funnest?"

"Oh, no!" Kiki protests. "Pajama Warriors are... entirely peaceful. We're a corps of cheerful do-gooders, and we foil evil. Evil ducks. Evil, non-pajama-wearing ducks."

"Will there be a secret handshake?" asks Susan with a giggle. "Or a password and a complicated salute?"

"We could take the elevator on the way back up," Kiki offers. "There's nothing in the official Pajama Warrior Code against that."

Sakura eyes Kiki for a moment. "We're ducks?"

"Ohhh. I see...Well! Our secret is safe with me dear, no worries." Jessica pats Lana on the shoulder assuredly.

Susan's eyes go very, very round. "There's an elevator?" she sputters. "Why didn't I know about this?"

"Wait, I Han Mun just remembered a pajama marching song. It's an old Girl Scout one."

Lana sings:

Jessica starts to laugh. "How wonderful! That does sound nice."

Sakura grins at Lana. "Fake snow?" She thought out loud. "Somehow I don't even think this place is that wierd."

"Quack," Susan agrees solemnly, and then giggles.

"Right," Kiki agrees. "I mean... it could all really be soap flakes. Or sugar. Or..." Kiki tries to think of something else it could be.

"Ohhh how I love the springtime..." says Jessica very matter-of-factly...not really realizing what she really just said.

"Absolutely. Evil-non-pajama-wearing ducks. That's what we're after. Who may or may not be out wreaking havoc in the snow outside the front door." Lana giggled some more

"Um - I thought there was one," Kiki says uncertainly. "There used to be one, anyway... but honestly? I usually come and go right out my window, so I'm not sure anymore. I would figure there has to be an elevator."
