Dorm Lobby

Though she's still a little confused as to what exactly is going on, Sakura figures if she heads toward the commotion she'll figure it out anyway. She keeps her cards handy in case she needs them, and rather hopes she may run into someone she knows.

Having just finished detention (and getting attacked by a hoarde of snowmonsters themselves), Alphonse quickly sprinted back into the dorms. He and Edward seperated just before he arrived; it was to cover more ground, he had told Alphonse. He just hoped his brother wouldn't do anything irrational while they were seperated.

He passed by Sakura, then stopped in mid-run when he realized she was there. "S-Sakura!" Alphonse called out, turning to catch up with her again. "What're you doing here?"

Sakura blinked. "Alphonse-kun!" She absently twirled her staff between her fingers -- she'd brought it out for safety precautions, just in case -- and smiled. It was good to see a familiar face. "I'm trying to figure out what's going on," she explained. "Aren't you and Ed supposed to be in detention?"

Sharon had stopped to fill a thermos with hot cocoa before following Sakura down to the lobby. She'd definitely had better ideas. But then, she didn't think she'd ever think about playing in the snow the same way again. Ever.

Sakura turned and smiled at Sharon. She eyed the thermos, and grinned. "Good thinking, Sharon."

"We were," Alphonse eyed the unfamiliar staff that Sakura twirled around. "Until those snow monsters barged in and attacked us. Some of us got hurt in there. I don't know where Brother is right now, he said he was going to go out and help with the counter-attack while I'm here seeing if everything's okay." He looked around the lobby anxiously. "Nothing's been too beaten up, has it? I think I can go and fix anything that has been. And," he pointed to her staff. "What's that?"

"If nothing else, it'll help keep us warm." She nodded towards the door, and the distant battle. "Shall we?"

Sakura continued to twirl her staff -- call it a nervous habit -- as Alphonse spoke. She nodded. "I hope everyone's okay," she says softly. "And everything seems fine in here," she adds. "I was gonna go see if there was anything I could do to help out there." She paused, almost dropping the staff when Alphonse pointed to it. "...Oh. This?" She smiled. "'s my staff. I control my cards with it..." she trailed off. Firey would probably come in handy out there, fighting snow monsters. She frowned.

Sakura followed Sharon's line of sight, frowning. She nodded. "Sounds good to me."

"Yeah," Alphonse scratched the back of his neck nervously. "I want to make sure nothing is wrong here before I go out, myself. 'Sides, Brother is out there, along with half the school to protect it. But every little bit helps." Alphonse looked down at her staff, getting a good look at it. "We never did get to see a demonstration of your cards, huh? I guess today's the day."

Sakura smiled. "Yeah," She eyed her staff as well. "...Well, you check things around here -- there's not much I could do about fixing anything broken in here. I'll go ahead out and meet you out there later?"

"Right," Alphonse agreed. He turned and continued down the hall in a sprint, waving at Sakura and calling out, "I'll catch up with you later! Tell Brother not to do anything he'll regret later without me if you see him, and keep safe, okay?"

Sakura smiled, and waved back. "Will do. Take care of yourself, Alphonse-kun!" And with that, she turned and headed out the door.

Zipping her coat up, Sharon followed her, hoisting her thermos. If nothing else, she could hit them with it.

Feeling a tad groggy from stay up so late last night, Jessica was extra oblivious today (if that is even possible). She had woken up, showered, dressed, and been in her room for most of the day reading and doing homework. She decides to take a strole around the dorms, maybe she'll see someone? Walking into the lobby she immediately spots Sakura and approaches her.

"Why hello dear! How are you doing? Isn't it just the most lovely day?"
