4th Floor Common Room - Sunday evening

After play rehearsal, Allie headed to the common room with some microwave popcorn and a handful of DVDs. She was looking forward to hanging out with Boone, since they'd had so much handwavy fun hanging out on the UK trip. Plus, if her email was to be believed, everyone should be in town at Angel's party, which meant more privacy. Not that she expected they would be doing anything to warrant privacy, but still.

Boone entered the common room, smiling the moment he caught sight of the familiar figure. "Hey," he said, casually reaching for a handful of popcorn, almost reflexively.

He flipped through the small stack, until he found one that looked interesting. "This one looks pretty good," he commented, holding it up. "What do you think?"

He moved to put in the DVD. "I know." He ran a hand through his dark hair. "It seems a little bit like it just started, doesn't it?"

He made himself comfortable on the couch, smiling at her. "It was," he agreed. "Especially Camden Market." He couldn't help but grin in rememberance of that afternoon.

He grabbed the remote, turning the volume on the TV down slightly as the movie's loud opening music began. "Yeah," he laughed, "I did. I didn't even find out about it until we got back." He might have pouted and asked why he was always the last to know everything.

He laughed, "I have no clue." He sat up and straightened, his knee grazing hers as he shifted. He blushed, but didn't move. "Do you think it might be a trick of parallel universes or something?" He asked, grinning.

He laughed slightly, "You're not exactly the Nancy Drew type? I'd probably be even worse, though." He murmured.

"I wouldn't be able to stay serious either." He unconsciously moved slightly closer to her. "I mean, I can't even keep a straight face when I'm coming into class. Breaking and entering would probably need a theme song, anyway." He added thoughtfully.

He blushed slightly, then moved his arm to stretch it along the back of the couch. Then, on sudden impulse, he placed it around her narrow shoulders. The worst that could happen was...he didn't even bother entertaining the thought, thinking that she would probably shrug it off or slap the crap out of him or anything in between.

"Um, maybe something like the Hamster Dance?" He suggested playfully. "I don't think that has words."

Well, at least she didn't start throwing things at his head. He smiled. "But it would have the advantage of annoying anyone who might be inside." He countered lightly. "And then you can use it as a bargaining chip or something, like 'I'll turn it off if you don't call the cops and tell me where the top-secret safe is and how to open it'. Or...something." Dork.

"You're probably right," he conceded. "If we were invovled, I don't think it would've worked out. Even if they didn't have a theme song."

"Once or twice," he replied. He glanced at the movie, only to find that they'd been so busy talking that he had no idea what was going on. He turned his attention back to her as she leaned against him, gazing down at her with a smile just as shy.

"We could go sometime." He murmured. "I mean, not like a date or anything. Unless you wanted it to be. I mean, uh... what I'm trying to say is we should hang out more often."

"I'd like that too." Boone said quietly.
