Anyone standing outside the door would be able to hear the noise of water running hard into the sink, and anyone opening the door would shortly discover that there are two reasons for that.
Kiki is there, standing over the sink and sniffling, tears streaming down her cheeks as she scrubs viciously at her face.
Scrawled across her forehead in red crayon - that doesn't seem to be coming off - is "F!" followed by the epithet, "(WIMP)."
Kiki wipes her eyes and pours more soap on her sponge.
