Second Floor Common Room - Saturday Morning

Veronica woke up early and decided to go to the common room to bake muffins. She carted Logan and a bag of groceries downstairs.

Logan was lounging on the couch, watching cartoons.



Veronica started baking.


[open for all bunny cuddling, mocking, etc purposes. please to not be modding the bunny without talking to me first (unless you're Angel). I will be on and off the computer today, so slow play may be necessary.]

Callisto wandered down to the not cool no matter what they said common room. "Morning Veronica, I'm assuming that's Logan on the couch?"

"Morning Cal," Veronica said. "Yes, that's Logan. You can hold him, if you want. You can also ask him yes or no questions. He'll twitch his right ear for yes, his left ear for no."

"But Angel might get jealous if he finds out I've been cuddling Logan," Callisto snickered, before picking up the bunny. "Regardless of bunnification."

"It can be our little secret," Veronica promised. "Right, Logan?"

He gave a little bunny glare, but twitched his right ear.

"Least he's less likely to get into trouble this way," Callisto said. "Fuzzier too."

"If there's a way for a bunny to get in trouble, I'm sure Logan would figure it out," Veronica said. "But I haven't let him out of my sight so far, so he hasn't had a chance to try."

She pulled the first batch of muffins out of the oven and put another batch in.

"Looks like we'll have to reschedule our double date though."

"Well, there don't seem to be many of the kinds of animals that'll eat rabbit around here, so he's unlikely to end up dinner," Callisto raised an eyebrow. "We had a date?"

"Alanna's cat seemed to take an interest in him yesterday in class, but Alanna made him back off," Veronica said.

Logan started to tremble at the memory.

"Angel didn't tell you? We were going to watch funny movies and order Chinese. Last weekend sucked really bad for me and the boys had detention, so it was our effort to have a good weekend."

"There's your problem right there," Callisto felt Logan tremble, and automatically started petting him. "If it involves Angel and talking..."

"Good point," Veronica agreed. "So once Logan is de-bunnified, you and I will plan a reschedule and tell the boys when and where to show up."

She checked the time. "You want a muffin?" she asked. "They should be cool enough by now."

"Sounds like a plan," Callisto grinned. "Sure, I'd love one, since all I've got up in the room is coffee and blood."

Veronica reached out to take Logan off her hands, so she could help herself to a muffin.

"There's a pot of coffee, too," she said.

"Thanks," Callisto handed Logan over. "Yay, coffee."

"You want a piece of muffin?" Veronica asked Logan. He twitched his right ear.

"I wonder how much coffee we go through at this school," Veronica said.

Pip grinned as he wandered down the stairs, perhaps even evily (pyschic influence?), but the moment he saw Veronica in the common room, his face turned stern. He walked into it and shook his head at her. "So, I heard on the radio that you put an eyepatch on Logan."

"I didn't," she countered, "Barbossa did. But he looked really cute."

She tilted her head and smiled. "Want a muffin?"

"But you let it happen. I can't believe you would do that. Do you realize how insensitive that is to me? Do you realize the pain I went through with this? And you're calling it cute? I... can't believe you!"

He sat down and looked as though he were about to cry.

Then, suddenly, he looked back up, grinning cheekly. "Since it's April Fool's Day and I'm pretty hungry, though, yeah. I think I'll have a muffin. What kind?"

"That was mean," Veronica said. "No muffins for you now," she teased.

Logan, perched on the counter near her, twitched his right ear.

In search of something to do, Bel wandered downstairs to the center of the universe second floor common room. He saw the bunny on the couch and choked back a laugh. "Hey, Logan," he said. "How's it going?"

Logan's ears flattened and he gave Bel his best bunny glare.

"I know you're not going to attempt to take advantage of my boyfriend's defenselessness," Veronica said by way of greeting.

"Yes, but it was very funny from where I'm standing. Can I get a muffin if I apologize?"

"Of course not," Bel said innocently, then lied, "I just came down here looking for my two cats. They slipped out this morning. You seen 'em?"

Logan twitched his left ear.

"Hush," Veronica said to the bunny. "You can have one anyway," she told Pip. "There's banana nut and blueberry."

"Oooh, banana nut," Pip said, taking it. He peered at Logan. "So this is really Logan? What the hell happened?"

"No, haven't seen any cats," Veronica said, walking over to pick up Logan, who had started trembling at the mention of cats.
