Gym, morning

After Maths, Cameron headed down to the gym. He really wasn't spending enough time in here as of late, he had some catching up to do.

Aeryn doesn't have class on Wednesday anymore, so she might as well take advantage of the free time, She sees Cameron in the gym and greets him with a "Hi."

Cameron greets her back with a "Yo". He's unpredictable like that. Just like working on the punching bag is.

"How are you?" she asks, heading to one of the machines. She can be here all morning. She'll make it to the bag eventually.

"Fine," it's automatic really. "You? Did you survive the birthday party alright?"

"Well, I'm here," she points out.

"Point," he nods. "And since no deaths were reported it wasn't all too bad?"

"I think everyone escaped unscathed," Aeryn says. "I'm impressed with that myself."

"Got to be careful for your reputation," he says with a quick smile and turns most of his attention back to the bag.

She gives him a Look. "First I was nominated and then won in girlkissy because too many people don't fear enough for their lives, and now Rory's asking me when I'm going to wear the pink things she gave me. There goes that reputation."

That gets him to stop punching and he has to try his hardest not to outright laugh. "You should look alright in pink, it worked for Vala when we made her wear that shirt," he's still suppressing a grin as he makes a suggestion, "If it helps I can say something very dumb in public and you can kick my ass for it? It might save your reputation."

"Oh, I'm sure someone would say something very stupid and I'd have to do that anyway. No planning necessary," she says, and turns to up the weight on the machine.

"If you're sure, you can keep it as back up plan," he shrugs and goes back to the bag. Left. Right. Left. Kick.

"Any time," he says and goes right back to the beating the bag up. It takes a while before he finally speaks again. "Last week, did I do anything bad? Molly said I didn't hurt anyone and no one's said anything but..."

"Nothing that I saw," she says, ending the set and rolling her shoulders. She needs to get back in here more often. "You went to Criminal Justice in that spacesuit-looking thing. But nothing bad."

"Uh," Cameron blinks. "He wore the superhero costume? I guess I should be glad he didn't go out to buy a dress."

"He was a bit on the slow side. And this is coming from me." She pauses. "Who was he?"

"A prior, they never really told me his name," he keeps his attention on the bag and maybe he's imagening someone else in its place. "They're these religious nuts who do the missionary work for the Ori."

"Of course, that makes perfect sense," says Aeryn, who's still needing some explanation.

He sighs and kicks the bag hard. "I don't know what they are. The Ori, I mean. Beings, I guess, with lots of power who think everyone should worship them or die," he frowns because it doesn't make sense and everything the Doci told him was way too cryptic. "They say they'll help up reach enlightment and everything will be fine and dandy if you fall down before their feet. They certainly thought they were going to make my life new and shiny," he sneers and hits the bag that much harder.

She considers this, and answers, "That's idiotic."

Cameron laughs, but it's not exactly a happy sound. "Yeah, it is."

"What did they want with you?" she asks, because she has to.

"Convert me? I don't know," he shakes his head. "I think they were surprised, they kept saying things about our presence here being hidden from them."

He pauses and stares at the bag, "I think he was a scout."

Parker gives Aeryn and Cam a half-salute as she walks in and goes over to the mat, doing stretches to get warmed up. "Hey."
