Dorm corridor, floor 5, Thursday night/Friday morning

The corridor was dark and mostly quiet, and River kept listening. For some reason the minds of people here at Fandom was less accessible to her. Sometimes a clear thought appeared, but most of the time there was just a background mumble. This was odd, but also a lot more peaceful.

Perhaps sleeping would be good, but for some reason she kept wanting more ice cream.
