Dorm Stairway - Friday Afternoon
Adella stalked down the stairs of the dorms scowling at the floor through her hair. In the back of her mind Pippi was yammering on, yelling, making threats, cursing like a sailor... Not surprising since she was, apparently, a pirate. It was very difficult to stay focused and keep moving, and it was putting the fairy in quite a mood.
| | Maia was walking back after shopping all day, she wanted to be ready for anything the summer term brought. "Hey Pippi." She said smiling at her. |
"Hey..." Who's this? Screw you. "... you."
| | Maia took in the outfit and cleared her throat. "Uh, is there another play...or something?" She said smiling politely. "Cos um...well it's an interesting outfit you've got yourself today." Then Maia realized something. "Oh god is the laundry room on strike again?" |
| | "Pippi" keeps her eyes on the floor and has her hand up over them as if she has a headache or some such. "Oh, ah. Some friends back home wanted pictures of me in my costume so I was going to have some taken." Yeah. Real smooth. |
| | "Oh." Maia said with a slight frown. "Are you feeling ok?" Maia asked concerned over Pippi keeping her eyes covered, she reached her hand out to pat her shoulder. |
| | Adella continued to keep her hand up to "her" forehead and eyes as naturally as possible. She lets Maia pat her shoulder, but Maia may notice that she Pippi is rather taller then she was during the prom. Several inches taller in fact. "Oh I just woke up feeling... Not myself. You know, one of those weird things." she gave a weak laugh. That's an understaitment... How would you know? I was checking out your yearbook while you were taking that trip down memory lane and trying to convince me I was just a dream. "You wouldn't happen to have a pair of sunglasses on you? I have a bit of a headache and it's quite bright out there..." |
| | Maia glanced up and up at Pippi. "Uh Pippi..." She said peering closer at her. "You've...I think maybe we should go to the clinic. You didn't get bit by a grindylow again did you?" She said taking her hand away and reaching into one of her shopping bags to pull out some sunglasses. "Put these on. Come on, I think you should go to the clinic." Maia said rather firmly. |
![]() | Adella slipped the sunglasses on with a smile. "No, not bitten." she said, "But I did... Eat at the cafeteria today. You're probably right, I think I shall stop by the clinic. Thank you for the glasses." |
| | "Do you need me to go with you?" She said, feeling uneasy. |
![]() | "Oh I think I'm well enough to go myself." she says turning to go. |
| | "Pippi." Maia called starting after her. "Promise you will ok. I don't want anything to happen to you." Maia said with a tense smile. The grindylow situation had put her on edge where Pippi's health was concerned. |
| | "Pippi" stops and doesn't even look back. "I'll be fine. Better then fine. I promise to take good care of this body." |
| | Maia watched Pippi walk off and frowned. She needed to call Walter or Pip, something was up. Yeah Pippi was stubborn but the whole thing just didn't feel right; but then again, it is Fandom High. |
[[ooc:Preplayed - Interaction after "Pippi" leaves Maia locked to a certain Danish Prince.]]

"Has all the seniors leaving today thrown you into a shock?"
no subject
Oh hello, it's the Prince.
Yippy. Please do me the favor of not molesting him.
"I'm just trying out a different look." she says smiling. It was technically true. "What do you think?"
She turned for him.

"It's nice, I suppose. It's quite a change in appearance from your usual pigtails, although I'd wonder why you'd wear sunglasses inside. It can't be that bright in here, can it?"
no subject
Nice.
Nice he supposes. You're reaching I think.
Shut up kid.
"I'm afraid I have a bit of a headache, I was just heading out to buy something for it." She tilts her head a bit at him. It's possible she's looking him over as well, but the glasses make it hard to tell.
I wonder what he's doing later...
If you have anything to say about it, I'm sure he'll be running and screaming.

Oh leave the new kid alone. He's barely been here a week.
I don't mean whoa in that sense of the word, I mean this kid gives of an interesting vibe.
You seem to say that about anything male.
The red head nodded to the other red head.
"Hey."

He thinks for a moment. "Or maybe you should be lying down until it passes? It might not be good to be up and about when you're unwell."

Be quiet kid I'm trying to figure this boy out.
Just don't touch him and you'll get no trouble from me.
"Oh? I'm not sure you really comprehend how strange people can be here."

She leaned against the wall and crossed her arms.
"Would you like to join me?"

The milkman.
She gave a small laugh.
"Artie is the least of your worries." she bluffed. Then she held out her hand.
"Pippi."
GENTLY!!!

"Join you in helping you get to your room, or in sitting in the dark and listening to music?"

She tilted her head at him and smiled, the sunglasses reveal nothing except his own reflection.
"Apart from the slight headache I mentioned you mean? ... Never better."
I'll give you a headache you mongrel bitch!
You are the headache kid.

This kid has something... Something that could really hurt me.
You don't say? I like him already.
Too bad he doesn't have it with him.
Behind her sunglasses her eye twitched and her hand started to squeeze his harder then she really should.
GENTLE! BE GENTLE! DON'T HURT HIM!
She pulled her hand away from his as if it was red hot.
"Sorry about that." she said shaking her head. "Sometimes I don't know my own strength."

The kid's clamoring was really starting to irk the fairy. She shook her head more forcefully, as if trying to physically shake the girl in her head into being quiet.
As she did, her sunglasses slid down her nose a bit, causing the lavender glow of her eyes to peek out.
"I should probably get going... I'll see you around... Tim."

"Did you still want to search for headache medicine, or did you want a hand up to your room?"
no subject
See? No running or screaming.
That would be because you aren't jumping on him like you did with pretty much every other guy back during the play... Not that I'm complaining. But why are you so nice to him?
Well, royalty you know. Courtly love and all that.
Ptch. What a bunch of garbage.
Okay, you got me. There's just something about a guy named Hamnet.
Hamlet.
Whatever.
Okay, just so you know? I don't trust you with him in a dark room. So if you don't walk away right now? I'm gonna start singing. The alphabet. Backwards.
"How about I go find something to fix this little headache, and I'll let you know if I need a hand up to my room?"

She bobbed a little curtsey and walked away, hips swinging.
