5th floor, common room, afternoon-ish

Buffy had been hungry and gone wandering through fandom town looking for take away. She had considered chinese for a moment, but had ended up ordering five pizzas instead, since according to her experience food in the common room = many people magically showing up. Therefor precautions taken.

She placed the boxes on the table in front of the tv and went to find herself a diet coke. Drink found, she dropped down in the couch and turned on the tv, flipping through channels before finally landing on a Buddies rerun.

He's a monkey, what do you want from him?

Buffy might have squeaked a little at the sight of the monkey and possibly jumped up into the couch as well. "Oh my god! Don't tell me you're a student too?"

"Eep eep."

Buffy probably can't understand that.

He looks at the pizza.

He looks at Buffy.

He doffs his hat to her and holds it in his hands looking at her with adorable monkey eyes.

Buffy climbed off the couch, sitting down properly. She looked at the monkey. The monkey seemed to want... pizza? "Huh." Well, she had bought quite a lot... "Peperoni?"

Alec was drawn by food, as was common for teenage males. He followed the scent of pizza to a common room he definitely was associating with food and sometimes pretty things.

And there were both. Imagine that.

"Hey Buffy!"

Bel left the clinic to go back to the dorms and change clothes. Before he could head back, the smell of pizza lured him down to the fifth floor common room.

"Eep eep!"

Mr. Neilson scampered over to the kitchenette to grab a paper towel and hopped back up onto the table to partake of the Peperoni.

"Alec! Hi! Pizza?" Buffy offered, holding the open box up for him to see. She was a little sad to note that he hadn't elected to go shirtless again, though. "It's pretty good."

Buffy nudged a pizza box towards New Guy and smiled. "Pizza?"

"Thanks, Buffy," Bel said, recognizing her from the other Buffy he'd known. He helped himself to a slice of pepperoni.

Buffy blinked, and was almost convinced the monkey was a student. But only almost. After all, what kind of guy would remember to grab a paper towel?

"Um. Help youself? I guess?"

There was no such thing as Mad Monkey Decease, was there?

Buffy gave him a startled look. "Do I know you? ...Oh no. Don't tell me..."

Mr. Neilson doffed his hat again to Buffy and tucked the paper towel, which was bigger then him, into his shirt before taking a slice.

He's obviously very hungry, but he also looks a little sad.

"Yeah, I knew the Other You," Bel said. "And your not-boyfriend was my best friend."

"Thanks," he said gratefully, taking a piece without missing a beat. "Do you just like feeding people or something?"

"Hey," Alec greeted the newcomer with a nod, then had a bite of pizza.

Buffy sighed deeply and had another bite of her pizza. Then she gave him a very puzzled look. "Who? Pike?"

"Hey," Bel echoed in greeting. "Belthazor," he offered his name. "Bel for short. You new, I take it?"

Marie was going to head into town to grab some lunch, but the scent of pizza lured her to the common room instead.

"Hey," she smiled a greeting as she entered the room.

"No, Angel," Bel said. He gave her a curious look. "You that young that you don't know him yet?"

Buffy grinned. "No, mostly just myself, but I figured food would draw people, so I should buy enough for everyone. Anything else would be rude." She nodded, solemnly. "I wouldn't want to be rude."

Mr. Neilson looked up from his pizza.

There was somebody he knew!

He jumped a bit, causing the paper towel to fall from his shirt and waving a pizza crust in the air.

"Eep eep!"

Buffy frowned at him. "Hey, I'm sixteen, I'll have you know. I'm not some little kid!"

"Hey!" Buffy called out. "Come on, grab some pizza! I have lots!"
