Hallways, noon-afternoon

Buffy had thought ahead and handwavily ordered samples of cheerleader uniforms. In blue and yellow, of course, occasionally with a little white. And now she was wandering the hallways, looking for people to pressgang recruit into the wonders of cheerleading and/or basketball. And those she already HAD recruited, to let them know that there would be a meeting in the gym on Saturday. So far Alec was the only one who knew about that, and while she liked Alec just fine, her and Alec alone in the gym wouldn't help her cause any.

So she grabbed her notebook, grinned at the heart next to Zack Addy's name, many, cheerleading outfits and began roaming the hallways.

Janet had no idea when they'd gotten a cheerleader at Fandom, but then again, she didn't much care, as long as she could stay clear of the whole process of cheerleading entirely. So she tried not to catch the new girl's eye and hoped they could just wave awkwardly or something as they passed each other in the halls.

Pippi is tired of being cooped up inside and is making her way out to the front lawn when she catches sight of a new person she hadn't met yet.

"Hello," she said, "I don't think we've met. I'm Pippi."

Paige is bored, thus she's wandering around the dorms looking for..well anyone.

"Oh hey Buffy," she said smiling as she approached the girl.

Hope was good to have. However, Buffy had gotten a crash course in destroying of hopes from Aeryn, and thus-- "Hi! I'm Buffy! Want to join the cheerleading squad?"

"Oh, you're the pancake maker," Buffy greeted her. "Nadia told me. I'm Buffy."

"Hi Paige, what's up?" Buffy shifted her stack of uniforms over to the other arm and smiled.

"Do I look like I want to wear a short skirt and bounce around for the gratification of an audience?" asked Janet, crankier-sounding than usual. She'd had a really bad morning.

"Oh yes." Pippi said with a grin. "That is who I am. It's very nice to meet you Buffy. What'cha got there?"

"Not much, just kinda you know bored," she replied looking over at the uniforms with a raised eyebrow. "that's a lot of cheerleader outfits for one girl isn't it?" she asked

"Awesome!" beamed Buffy, somehow completely missing the crankiness. She pressed a uniform (http://www.squad-one.com/01_uniforms/Traditional/art_traditional/CST51_purple.jpg) into Janet's hands. "There'll be a meeting on Saturday! In the gym! See ya!"

And then she skipped on.

"Cheerleading uniforms. I'm on an important recruitment mission." Buffy nodded seriously.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," muttered Janet. She held the uniform gingerly and walked off to her room looking for disinfectants. And possibly something to light it on fire with. Or she could just return it on Saturday and tell Little Miss Perky there was no way in hell she could possibly be on the cheerleading squad.

Buffy grinned. "Well, they aren't just for me. There's Marie and Molly and -- damn, I forgot to get her name-- and Alec too!" She paused. "Alec's not gonna wear the skirt though."

"Oh right okay cool, guess that makes sense, I'm guessing you were a cheerleader at your old school then?" she asked still eyeing the uniforms.

"Oh?" Pippi asked... "I assume you're recruiting cheerleaders... But what do cheerleaders do may I ask?"

Buffy followed her look. "They don't bite," she said helpfully. "Honest. And yes, I was!"

"We cheer! And promoted school spirit and unity through awesome gymnastics!" Buffy nodded. "There'll be a try-out later, if you want to come look and see what I mean?"

Paige smirked, "Are you totally sure? Cos in this school you can never be so sure. And um how was that? I mean that wasn't really my scene back home, but well things change I guess." she replied

"Oh yes," she said, "That sounds delightful!"

Callisto was wandering back down to her room to grab some lunch. Unfortunately she was in the midst of a bout of vampire related angst, and didn't see the garishly bright uniforms in time to take an alternate route and avoid Buffy.

"Awesome!" Buffy beamed, and wrote down Pippi's name - awkwardly 'cause of the uniforms - in her book. Then moved on.

"Hi!" Buffy beamed at the unknown blonde. "I'm Buffy! I'm on a mission from God the principal, would you like to help me out?"

Callisto's eyes totally didn't bug out at the small perky blonde. "You're Buffy?"

"Oh it was awesome," Buffy said, earnestly. "Do you want to come try out and see if it's your thing? You really should, like, consider it. It's an experience for life!"

Buffy blinked a little, since she was pretty sure she'd just introduced herself. "Yup! I haven't met you before, have I? I've met, like, a million people the last weeks so I'm really sorry if I've forgotten you. Because you're totally not forgettable or anything!"
