Main Campfire, Monday evening

Jude wandered towards the main campfire, wanting to get away from the cabins a bit. He flopped down onto a log, looking uncharacteristically mopey for Jude. One might even say emo if his subculture was not clearly grunge/skater. He is accompanied by a slightly squished bag of non-special brownies and a stick, which he currently using to poke absently at the dirt in front of him, making little patterns and hills and holes.

Jude lifted a hand in greeting. "Nadia, bra."

"What's happening?"

"Not much." He gestured with his stick in the general vicinity of another log. "Take your coat off, stay a while."

Nadia blinked, as she was not wearing a coat, just a sweatshirt, but had a seat anyway. "So, did you have any workshops today?"

Jude nodded. "Baking." He held out the bag of brownies. "Behold, the fruits of my labours." He seemed unconcerned if this would take away from his oh-so-evident manliness.

"Oo! Brownies! Nice. Piper is teaching that one, right?"

"Yeah," Jude smiled a bit. "She seemed cool. Didn't spaz when I dropped the eggs and the pecans. And the vanilla. A lot."

Tim returns from his aimless wandering in the woods, having miraculously not gotten lost.

"She's nice like that." Nadia couldn't help but notice Jude seemed slightly less . . . enthusiastic? about things then the last time she saw him. "Do you know what a pokemon is?"

Nadia waved. "Hey, Tim! You're not going to make it into my link drop!"

"A Jamaican Pillsbury Doughboy?" Jude suggested without batting an eye.

awwww "Hey gang. think we can make this the happenin' place to be? Like the third floor common room?"

"I thought that was supposed to be the second floor." Jude's unenthusiasm could just be interpreted as fourth-floor pride.

"Third and second floors are weenies. We need more food to get this place really swinging, though."

"I just got the brownies, bra. Maybe we can raid some of the cabins?"

"Hm. Well, I was planning on doing another sort of raid later, perhaps. . . ."

That got a smile out of him. "I thought guys were supposed to do the panty raids, bra."

"Not panties. Boxers."

"Will flagpoles be involved?"

"Possibly."

Jude chuckled, looking happier than he had a few minutes ago. "Awesome, bra. Just to let you know, my cowboy boxers are the most embarrassing and they're usually right on top."
