Koala Campfire, Morning

Bel found himself waking up early Monday morning because his mun had to work for some reason. He couldn't fall back asleep, so he slipped out of bed without disturbing Phoebe, got dressed, and went outside. The camp was pretty quiet so far. He settled in front of the charred remains of the Koala firepit and waited to see who might be awake and passing by.

Buffy was too excited to sleep in long, for today was Image class! With salon visit! She bounced out of bed, got dressed, and went outside. "Hey! You're up early."

"Couldn't sleep," Bel said, poking at the remains of the fire with a stick. "How about you?"

Veronica was up early too, after having spent yesterday not doing much of anything besides hanging out in her cabin.

She decided to take a walk around the camp site and see if any pranks were being pulled.

"Morning," she greeted Bel carefully. They hadn't talked since after the workshop last week and she didn't know if he was angry with her for telling him or not.

"Hey," he said, his voice neutral. "What are you doing up so early?"

"Woke up, couldn't go back to sleep cause someone texted me and made me get out of bed even though I *am* off today, figured I'd take a walk and see what was going on," Veronica said with a shrug.

"No underwear on the flagpole or people sleeping around the campfire this morning though."

"Good morning, Buffy," Veronica said with a smile and a wave.

"Not so far as I've seen," Bel said. "Fortunately Koala has been pretty peaceful."

Veronica smirked. "No one's been stupid enough to try to prank the grad's cabin yet," she said. "Anakin figures it's because they don't want to somehow end up naked in the woods courtesy of Callisto. I figure they don't want Piper to blow them up. Either way, I sleep better at night."

"That would be a difficult cabin to prank," Bel mused, not tempted at all. Really.

"I have an early class," Buffy beamed at him. "Not this early, but I'm really excited."

"Not to mention the fact that we all have the power to give detention," Veronica pointed out, hoping she hadn't just issued Bel a challenge.

"Which class is that?" Bel asked. "I don't have any today so I have time to kill."

Lana wandered out to enjoy the fresh air for a bit before she made the trek into town for work. "Bel. Good morning. You're not usually up when I leave."

"You can call me Veronica," she said. "How did cheerleading tryouts go? I heard about them on the radio last night."

"Image with miss Woods! Last week was awesome, so I'm hoping today will be as well." Buffy nodded. "There's a lot of boys in my class, but most of them are kinda... Well, they need the help."

"They went pretty well!" Buffy looked very pleased too. "There were some really good ones... and some who I'm not really sure what was doing there."

"Then you just don't get caught," Bel said with a grin.

"Hey, Lana," he said with a wave. "Couldn't sleep, so I came out here to see if anyone else was up and moving."

Veronica rolled her eyes. "Yeah, the pirate mentioned Johnina was there with a friend?"

Bel couldn't help but snicker. "Who's in the class?" he asked.

"Hi Buffy!" Lana smiled at her. "I think tryouts went pretty well yesterday - with a few exceptions."
