Bel was bored. He picked a floor at random (3rd) and claimed the couch in the common room, idly flipping through the channels on the TV. Oh, look. Celebrity poker.

Kaylee wandered into the common room and waved. "Hi Bel. It's been awhile since I talked to you. How've you been?"

Marie wanted to give Willow some peace and quiet to rest, so she went wandering through the dorms, looking for people to hang out with.

And she would never pass up an opportunity to annoy Bel, so of course she ended up in the third floor common room.

"Hey," she greeted with a grin.

"I'm so bored it's painful," Bel complained. "I'm losing the will to live."

"Miss me?" Marie asked, flopping down on the couch next to him.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Kaylee said genuinely. "Anything I can do to make things less boring?"

Bel moved his legs out of the way just in time. "As much as I miss being on fire," Bel said.

Kaylee waved. "Hey Marie. How are ya today?"

"Isn't that your power?" Marie asked.

"You and Marie could Jello wrestle. We could make popcorn and wait for the crazy people to come out," Bel suggested.

"I summon fire," Bel said. "I don't set myself on fire."

"I'm okay," Marie said. "I had fun last night but Willow's sick today. Looks like she has some kind of twenty-four hour flu."

She pouted. "Are you trying to say you didn't miss me?"

Gwynn wandered into the room. She might have been looking for someone. She might have been lost.

She also might still be dressed up as a pirate.

In any case, she looked incredibly confused.

"Where would my day be without you, little miss sunshine?" Bel said.

Bel blinked at the costume. "Barbossa hiring wenches for his personal entertainment?" he asked.

"I'd think it would be very boring," Marie replied with a grin.

Gwynn stared at him, confusion in her eyes for a moment.

"Miho and Becky were in charge of that thing called detention." She looked down at the costume and then back at Bel. "Jaime was dressed as something called a hula dancer."

Kaylee grinned. "Now that sounds like a good plan. Just hope we don't have to wait long for the crazies."

"Jamie was what?" Marie asked. "Please tell me someone got pictures."

"Oh no! I hope she'll get better soon," Kaylee said, her voice full of concern.

"Pictures?"

Marie nodded. "I got her soup and crackers and tea and I figured I'd give her some quiet time for rest."

"Hi Gwynn," Kaylee greeted, noticing how she was dressed. "Was there a costume party somewhere?"
