Ranma is walking for the door with Setsuna (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/663323.html?view=41907227#t41907227) and he sees John. He stops and puts up a hand to wave "Hey Stupid."

Sakurazaki gives Ranma a frown, tempted to lift her hand and hit upside the head with a firm proclaimation of "Baka!"

But she just lifts a hand in a small wave to John as well. "John," she nods.

"Ranma? Why are you walking funny? Andwhy is thefrontof your pants all wet like that? Dude. DUDE! Ranma. McNinjaPants." He stopped mid-pace. "Hey."

Hit by Setsuna. Ow. "Not sleeping with your girlfriend tonight eh?" He looks a bit smug.

John muttered "asshole" in a voice that may not have been audible. "Can't sleep. Mind's too busy." He starts pacing again.

McNinjaPants? There might have been a slight hanging of Sakurazaki's jaw.

She perches herself on the back of one of the couches. "Anything you need to let go from it, John?" Her head tilts slightly, feeling a bit concerned. She recognized pacing like that.

"Yes. No. I dunno what's going on, 'cept I gotta find out what happened." He rubs his shoulder, absently.

Well, that didn't give her much to spring from. "Find out what happened when?" she tries.

"I... I don't want to talk about it. Ranma should know, if he was even there. Were you there?" John's being a bit erratic. He runs his left handthrough his hair.

He raises an eye. "Do you mean when I kneed you in the ribs on the roof?"

"Before. When this," he gestured to his arm, "happened."

"The poker game?" Sakurazaki bites back a grin. Yeah, totally not the time for that, but she really couldn't help that one. Not after "McNinjapants."

He kinda laughs at Setsuna's strange input. "You had that happen at camp right? I was on the roof. I think I slept though it. I told you to go get it checked. Why didn't you?"

"I did get checked. Not dislocated, just sore as fuck. And Ican'tbelieve you slept through it. I'm not even sure if an 'it' happened, evidence toteh contary."

"It can't be just SORE for this long. And SOMETHING had to have happened."

"No shit, Sherlock. I don't know what happened. I just don't know." Pacing resumes.

Sakurazaki feelings pretty clueless, too, but she's been able to put a few pieces together. "Do you remember any of it? Even any random bits or pieces?"

"Oh, I remember." stop pace. "I remember things that can't be true, and I keep reliving themin my dreams."

Sakurazaki shoots Ranma a look of annoyance. "Ranma, don't talk Japanese in front of people like that; it's rude.

Her attention goes back to John, still trying to jam unseen pieces together, trying to get what she can out of him. "What kind of things that can't be true?"

John sighs (shallowly). "Ranma already knows some of this, I think. //He's also a jerk.// In the future, computers build robots to destroy humans. They sent one back in time to kill my mom before I was born. They sent another back in timewhen I was 13(?) to kill me. I don't doubt they'll try again. I didn't expect it to be here. Or... as that."

She bites back a grin at the jerk comment, but, glancing over to Ranma, it slips. She shakes her head.

"Doesn't sound too impossible to me. At all. But I am having difficultly...connecting it to this...event they you guys are talking about..."

Ranma sticks out his tounge at John. "Nyahh. I know who the real jerk is anyway. Well I don't really get that stuff too much either. I know there was some fight in the cabin. Or something."

"So that was real. I had a dream, that it'd come back in force this time, and... Fight."

He paused.

"When I came to, the cabin was empty. I fled to teh workshop, thinking I'd be safe,that everyone'd be safe wtiht me out of the way."
