Fifth Floor Common Room - Monday Morning

Marie was up early after being neglected by her player not doing much on Sunday. She decided to make a handwavy trip into town to buy supplies to bake muffins. She also bought juice and had a pot of coffee brewing if anyone wanted some.

"Hi, Marie!" Bridge says, bouncing in to the common room. "Morning!"

"Good morning, Bridge," Marie greets with a grin. "You're in a good mood."

"Good morning Marie! My goodness, it smells great in here!"

"Hi, Pippi!" Marie said. "Thanks, I decided to do some baking. Help yourself."

"Well, I usually am," Bridge admits with a sheepish grin. "It's sort of my default mood."

"Nothing wrong with that," Marie says. "Want a muffin?"

"Is it buttery?"

Marie blinks. "Um, I think there's butter in the fridge," she tells him.

"Thank you very much!" she said, "You're a very good baker."

"Thanks," Marie gave her a shy smile. "My momma likes to bake so she taught me the basics."

"Cool!" Bridge beams, grabs a still warm blueberry muffin, and butters it. "Thanks, Marie!" Except, food, so it's more "Fanksmrrrie!"

"Hi, Pippi!" Bridge waves.

"You're welcome," Marie replies, giggling a little. "How've you been? It's been a while since I talked to you."

"Hi, Marie!" Kaylee said as she wandered into the common room.

"Cool." she said taking a bite. "Hmmmm. Say, are you taking the baking class?"

"Morning, Kaylee!" Marie waved. "Help yourself to muffins and juice or coffee."

"I'm going to sign up for it second session," Marie said. "Why?"

When Sakurazaki drifts into the room and notices that unmistakable decoration on the wall, she's obviously very confused as to how she got on the fifth floor. She blinks a little as she halts in the doorway.

All that socializing this weekend was having an adverse effect on her brain, apparantly. "Huh."

"So you can learn more advanced techniques and experiment."

"Pretty good," Bridge says, polishing off the last of his muffin. "Helped get rid of a tentacle-demon this weekend, which was good except for the part where I got covered in tentacle goo," Bridge makes a face.

"A tentacle demon?" Marie repeats. "I saw the Jello dragons. And that was kind of gross."

Marie thought that might have been what Pippi said. "Yeah, I'm hoping to advance my skills."
