Dawn was hanging upside off one of the couches, reading. The television was showing reruns of CFD in the background, but Dawn wasn't really paying attention--the TMI-cam grossed her out.

Molly wandered in and sat down on the couch.

"Hey, Dawn. How's it goin'?"

Dawn waved upside down. "Hiya, Molly. Boredom has set in. How're things with you?"

Molly bit her lip. She wanted to talk to someone about Cam, but not in the common room. So, avoid the issue again it was.

"A lot better than last week. The party was fun yesterday," she said instead.

Bel wandered through the common room. "Hey, Dawn," he said. "Whatcha reading?"

Piper was bored, so she wandered into a random common room.

Sam took a few steps into the common room to see who might be around, and turned his head to glance at Dawn. "Having fun?"

"And we had good weather," Dawn grinned, "which is good. I can't imagine what would have happened if we hadn't. Isabel versus the weather gods."

"Sure," she said, still upside down. "Have you finally stopped gloating about the volleyball game?"

Molly grinned back. "It certainly would have been interesting. Fireworks of another kind."

"For the most part," Sam replied, grinning broadly. "I'd be gloating a lot more if you and Buffy hadn't played well."

"Hey, Dawn," Bridge says, as he moves over to the couch and joins her in the hanging upside down. "What's up?"

"Hey," Piper said, waving at Bel.

"Charles de Lint Christy Riddell," Dawn told him. "Dark and depressing urban fairy tales, but really good."

Molly waved from further down the couch.

"Hey, Bridge."

"I could pretend to threaten you in your sleep, if it would make you feel better about shutting up," Dawn offered.

What a coincidence, I just started reading "Spirits in the Wires. "Sounds cool," Bel said. "What's this one about?"

Dawn waved. "Hi. You're one of the witches from last weekend, right? I didn't get the chance to meet you. I'm Dawn."

"I made brownies a few days ago for my workshop students," Piper replied. "I'm surprised you didn't try to steal any."

"Have you signed up for workshops yet?" she continued.

Dawn looked around for Isabel, which was harder than she'd thought, considering she was balancing on her head, "I made it up."

"An artist whose paintings come to life," Dawn said, "though I'm really hating her mentor guy."
