Dawn made a quick handwavey trip into town for supplies, then set up a quesadilla bar. Conventional toppings like cheddar, swiss, monterey jack, eggs, spinach, peppers, onions, and mushrooms are there, as are less conventional toppings like peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, bananas, M&Ms, cottage cheese, apples, mandarin oranges, and pineapple.

There was also orange juice and packets of hot chocolate available (with mini-marshmallows, of course).

She began making herself a cottage cheese and mandarin orange quesadilla, humming happily. "I wonder if there's cinnamon..."

The smell of food was more than enough to get Sam down to the common room, and he grinned at the layout Dawn had made. "Wow, this is nice," he said, grabbing a few M&Ms.

"Morning!" Dawn grinned, tamping down on the, er, quesadilla in the pan with a spatula. "Help yourself, and I figured you guys could use a week off."

"That's really sweet of you, thanks." Sam began taking some of the more normal ingredients, before glancing over at what Dawn was making. "Are those oranges?" he asked.

"Uh huh. Want one?" She offered, seeing nothing out of the ordinary.

"Not in my quesadilla, I don't," Sam replied, snickering. "But I'm sure they're quite good on their own."

"No sense of adventure," Dawn teased, dropping one into her mouth, then holding out another one. "Try one. They're sweeter than regular oranges."

Before Basketball practice, Sawyer decides it's the smell of food that needs to me quelled. Turning the corner his eyes take in all the food. "Neat."

Dawn waved. "Hi. Help yourself. I'm Dawn, and if I've met you before, I'm totally sorry, but I've forgotten your name."

Sawyer waved as he sat down near all the food. "I'm Sawyer. Nice to meet you Dawn." Looking at all the toppings. "Looks good."

"Thanks. Most of it is fresh out of the store, since I can kinda sorta cook, but not really. I'm more of a chopper and assembler."

"I'm adventurous, but my stomach is not," Sam explained, taking the offered orange and popping it into his mouth. "Oh, that is pretty good."

Smirking, Sawyer starts to make his own as he looks at hers. Raising a brow he plops a few marshmellows in his. Why not be a bit adventerous? "I'm the same, sort of."

"See?" She beamed at him. "You should trust your roommate. I've not always wrong."

"Yeah?" Dawn began to wonder if she should have added fluff to hers as she waited for the cottage cheese to reach the proper level of gooeyness.

"Yeah." Watching her plop cottage cheese on hers made him whince. "You're really going to eat..cottage cheese?" Looking scared for her life.

"Sure. With cinnamon and mandarin oranges." She poked at it. "In just another few minutes."

"So, what're you up to today, Sawyer?"

"I trust you," Sam said defensively. "I know you're not always wrong. Just sometimes."

Dawn made a face at him. "Yeah, because you're always right..."

Sawyer folded up his quesadilla when she asked him the question. "Basketball practice and a game..I think a game..yeah.." His mind was a bit..somewhere else today. "What about you, Dawn?"

Dawn slid her quesadilla out of the pan and began cutting it, waiting for it to cool. "Pack to go back to the cabins, I guess. Wait, there's a game today?" Unfortunately, she didn't know Sawyer well enough to notice his attention was elsewhere.

"Hey, you said it, not me," Sam replied, laughing.

"Uhm, I don't know? My brain is thinking there is one, I don't know." Shrugging as he tosses his into the pan to cook it. "Are you excited about the new workshops?"

Hermione wanders into the common room with a book, waving to the others. "Hello."

"Hello," Dawn waved. "Help yourself, and oooh, what are you reading?"

"Oh, thank you," she says. "It's a book on first aid techniques. I'm taking the class, but it says it's advanced, so I thought I would catch myself up before it begins."
