5th Floor Common Room - Sunday evening.

Pippi had come back from her trip into town with Molly to discover a bunch of holes in the wall, including one in Proty's eye.

Poor Protty!

So she flounced back into town to get a few supplies and was now patching the holes in the wall and painting over them.

She started with Proty's eye. Which she patched and then painted an eye-patch over it.

Then she added a goatee, a magnificent hat, and a hook on the end of one of his tentacles.

Meet Proty's cousin.

Obed.

She smiled at her handy work and got to work on the rest of the wall.

Anders wandered up to the fifth floor with a dazed, mildly disturbed expression on his face. It was the look of Trying To Not Let My Brain Break Into Subatomic Particles, and in fact he hadn't quite processed his exact surroundings yet.

"Hi, Pippi," he said in a distant voice.

"My brain hurts," he said weakly. "Time travel . . . distance . . . difference . . . whatever, stuff. Whatcha doing?"

Demyx slinked into the common room and curled up in a corner with his music paper. Maybe they wouldn't notice him.

"Yeah, that'd be good. Can I help with the wall? It might distract me." Anders rubbed at the back of his neck. "Nine frakking years . . ."

Demyx looked up at her nervously, curling his fingers tighter around his pen. "Um...what? I was looking for someone?"

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey," Anders said to the guy he'd met yesterday. "You're the guy who was looking for Demyx yesterday, right?"

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
"No, but I can. Just give me some spackle and a putty knife, and oh my Lords, what happened in here?"

[identity profile] electric-sitar.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
"Noo..." Demyx said slowly. Then carefully set his pen down and facepalmed. "Nadia bit me yesterday at the game."

"I am Demyx," Demyx replied, giving Anders a strange look.

"I'm a big fan of avoiding detention. I'll totally help," Anders replied.

"She was all dressed up like a gremlin. The mascot, you know? And then she bit me!" He shook his head. "Next thing I knew, it was nighttime and I was wandering around outside."

[identity profile] cantgetnorelief.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
"But . . ." Anders frowned. His brain was already confused enough without this. "You said yesterday that really cool jacket you were wearing belonged to Demyx and you were trying to find him!"

[identity profile] electric-sitar.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
"No. She kept it on. She just...bit me. The Gremlin mascot bit me."

[identity profile] electric-sitar.livejournal.com 2006-07-31 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't remember yesterday!" Demyx replied, trying desperately not to flail. "I only remember up to the part of the basketball game where Nadia bit me, and then I was suddenly outside at night in my Organization jacket."

"Thankfully, short." Anders got to work on some of the holes higher up in the wall. "Very short, and oh my Lords, I could have run into Cally there when I was at the park and never have known it because . . . because . . . nine frakking years!"
