Gym, morning

Cameron was in a good mood as he hit the gym this morning. Humming a song under his breath, he did some stretches before hitting the machines.

Veronica showed up in a good mood, though running a few minutes late. "Morning," she smiled.

"Morning, Miss Mars," Cameron greeted as he continued working through his set. "It's good of you to grace the gym with your presence once more."

"You're in a good mood," Veronica pointed out. "I hope you're not planning any more fake injuries."

"Nah, I figure you're a big girl and you can take getting your ass kicked," he said cheekily, blocking the weights and sitting up.

Veronica gave him an amused look. "Oh, so that's what you think is going to happen today?"

"Think?" he raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh, I know."

"Is that why you're in such a good mood?" Veronica asked, rolling her eyes. "Cause I'd hate to ruin it."

"Nah, I don't let my mood depend on whether or not I get my ass kicked," he explained as he got up from the machine.

"Well, then, do share," she encouraged, grabbing gloves for their sparring.

"I don't kiss and tell," Cameron smirked as he grabbed a pair as well. "John and I bought a shark yesterday."

"What kind of flowers should I send to your funeral when Aeryn finds out?" Veronica asked. "And isn't it weird kissing someone who has your face?"

Cameron stared. "Ewl! I'm not a seawhore!"

"So those were two unrelated facts?" Veronica asked, tilting her head.

Bel hadn't hit the gym in awhile, so he got up early and headed downstairs, intending to get a good workout before his workshop. "Hey," he said in greeting to Cam and Veronica.

"How's it going?" Bel asked, starting to stretch.

"Gotta shimmer to the mainland and pick up the sake and some sushi," Bel said. "Shouldn't take long."

"Great," Cameron grinned. "How about you? Sick of summer yet?"

"I like the heat," Bel answered with a grin of his own. "Plus...it's gonna be weird when the graduates all leave."

Cameron glanced briefly at Veronica and nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean."

Veronica raised an eyebrow. "Wow, that's awesome."
