The Roof, Monday Evening After Classes

Without any sort of confirmation from Setsuna, the twins handwavilyput up posters for a freshmen class meeting cuz the roof is better.
Freshmen Class Meeting
Roof
For ALL Freshmen Reps!
but Setsuna's the best

They had set up on the roof, putting up posters for all the reps that they could find and take for that purpose. They only hoped that their improv meeting would reach everyone. Plus, there was food.
Otherwise, they sat and did homework, doing some work if this didn't play out.

((ooc: ah, i don't believe this was done yet fer freshmen, but open to everyone! ))

Sakurazaki's there early, having no classes and hoping to catch a 'word' with her campaign managers before things kicked off. It probably would do much for her image to be screaming at them while people arrived for the meeting. She had a particularly pointed glare for them, but a soft, almost-shy smile for anyone else.

She narrowed her eyes. //"I have half a mind to fire you two right here, right now,"// she sneered.

A look of distress crossed her face. //"Is that why you guys did that, then? Because I'm not paying you? Because I can, if you want. It's not like I don't have the money."//

//"The first slew of posters were fine, even the ponytail one,"// she commented tersely. //"But the one on my door? Is that what you call that, an 'unconventional message?' It was....God, that's not really how you guys see me, is it?"// There was a touch of worry in her voice.

//"Besides, maybe I am starting to get serious about it. I think I really do want to do this thing..."//

Jamie stepped up on the proverbial soap box and waved his arms.

"My fellow freshman! I come to you not as a candidate but as a fellow student! Are you tired of the persecution of upperclassmen? Do you think your opinion is not being considered? As a fellow freshman I can tell you that I really don't care! I JUST WANT POWER TO LORD OVER EVERYONE!"

*cough*

"Plus I promise to give free candy to all my fellow freshman!"

*throws candy mints into the theoretical crowd*

"THANK YOU! AND GOD(S) BLESS FANDOM HIGH!"

After a lot of facepalming at Jamie's speech, Marie said, "If I'm elected, I'll make sure the freshmen class's interests are protected and do whatever is needed to make sure we have a good school year."

She paused before adding, "Oh, and since my mun has to stay home from work tomorrow to let the painters in I don't have any classes until seventh period tomorrow, I'll be making muffins in the fifth floor common room in the morning."

//"Yes, well, I already tried to take it down, but to no avail. Where the hell did you guys get those stickers? They've got, like, the glue of death on them."//

Oof. Sakurazaki knew she could be long winded sometimes, but after Jamie and Marie, she was a little worried that what she had planned might be pushing it a bit.

"Hello. I'm sure most of you know me, but, if you don't, my name is Setsuna Sakurazaki, but don't worry, you can just call me Setsuna. I know that last name is a doozy." She attempted a small, nervous smile. "Fighting for someone else has been something I've been doing since I was a child; while my work in Japan may have required a lot more swords and fighting and dark plots on the whims of evil magicians, I wish to continue this here at Fandom High. And, who knows? It is Fandom, so representing you in the Student Council just might come to swords and fighting and dark plots on the whims of evil magicians. If so, and you've voted for me, then we will definately be prepared. If not, well, I'm still a very good listener and a determined person who will make sure you are represented well. As freshmen, we are supposedly the bottom rung of the ladder, but I plan to be fierce in my pursuits for the class and forge us an upstanding respect that will last through our upcoming years. Just as I was to the Konoe family in Japan, I will be a loyal and dedicated warrio....errr, representative, and fight for the freshman class."

"Thank you."

She bowed.

//"Well, I do currently have something else taped over it,"// she said; the patchwork of messed up or unused posterboard made for a pretty nice door decoration, actually. //"But if you could remove it, that would be preferable."//

//"And I am being nice right now, by not killing the both of you right now with my bare hands."//

Well, that was certainly...interesting. But Sakurazaki applauded politely. She'd skip the candy.

Short and sweet. With promised muffins. Sakurazaki applauded Marie. Well played...

*snerk*

John still needs some of those were-chicken Setsuna posters so he can mod them cuz it's Talk like a Pirate day for his door.
