The Roof, Thursday Morning

Bel stiffly made his way up onto the roof Thursday morning. He checked on his garden, which seemed to be faring better since he put up the non-emo zone around it, and ascertained that Blair had indeed not set up a motion-triggered disco ball. He wasn't sure what was worse, emo plants or plants gyrating to the Village People.

Then he wandered to the other side of the roof and lit up a cigarette, brooding on recent events. He had to shake this and get on with things, or else his plans for less emo and less flailing this school year would be off to a bad start.

The roof had been so mch fun yesterday that she just decided to go up again. Oh look. Someone else was here. "Hello." She waves gently, noticing this person looks a bit upset.

"Hey," Bel said, raising his hand for a wave.

She walks over. "You don't look so good.. Are you feeling okay? My name's Matilda by the way, I'm sorry to intrude. I'll leave you alone if you want" She tests a helpful looking smile.

Cally wandered up with a tin cup and a very nervous expression.

"Oh, uh, hi Bel."

Bel looked Cally over. "What's wrong?"

"Belthazor," Bel said gruffly. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just have some stuff on my mind." He shrugged a little. "It's kinda nice to think up here, y'know?"

"I might be about to accidently kill myself?" Cally said.

"I might have to accidentally stop you then?" Bel said.

"Well, if I start convulsing, just shimmy me to the clinic," Cally said. "I'm, uhh, gonna see if batch two is drinkable." She pointed at the Viper.

Bel cocked his head. "Isn't it a little early in the morning for that?"

"I'm just gonna sip," Cally said. "No one said anything about, like, throwing a drunken roof party or something."

"Yeah it seems like it." She doesn't quite know how to help so she's quiet and let him talk if he feels like it.

"Got it," Bel said. "Well, let me have a sip, too, then."

"So, you new around here then?" Bel asked idly, taking a drag off his cigarette. No one said he had to talk about himself.

Cally headed over to the valve on the Viper-still and turned it to half fill her little cup. She shut the valve, then took a sip.

Her eyes bugged, but at least she wasn't keeling over.

"Hoo... It's... drinkable, I think," she said.

Bel took the cup and took a sip of his own. "Wow," he said. "That's pretty good."

"And non lethal, which is definitely a plus. I'm gonna have to see if I can try to make it... not so rough, though."

"I like it rough," Bel said.

"Is this your way of telling me you want some?" Cally asked.

"Sure," Bel said, grinning. "Lay it on me."

"Yeah, it's a really nice school. You seem like you know the place, I think you;d agree." She smiles.

"You'll have to wait until Walter gets his," Cally said. "I promised him. For his birthday, and stuff."

"Oh really?" Bel smirked.

Nadia wandered up to the roof to enjoy the nice, if a bit cool, weather.

She frowned when she saw Bel.

"Oh. It's you."
