4th Floor Common Room: Friday Evening

Blair was bored. Very bored. There didn't seem to be anything good on TV, there was nothing particularly appetizing in the fridge and for some reason even the internets seemed dull tonight.

So he dug through the DVD's in his room till he found a copy of the horror movie, The Bracelet. It seemed like it was getting close enough to October to spend a night watching scary movies.

In the mood for company, Willow went wandering alliteration, wee! until she found a common room with someone in it. "Hey, Blair. Whatcha doing?"

Buffy had decided that it was time to stop being mortified over chasing sticks and randomly licking complete strangers, and come out of her room. In a hope of hiding in a crowd, she went looking for a promising common room.

"Hey Willow!" Blair smiled. "Watching scary movies."

Blair waved from where he sat. "Hi! Come to watch scary, scary movies?"

"Mind company?" Willow asked. "Albeit company that sometimes covers its eyes and goes 'eek!'"

Dawn poked her head into the common room and grinned when she spotted Buffy. "Want your shoe back?"

"Sure!" Buffy said gratefully and walked over to the couch. "What movie is this?"

Buffy headpalmed. "...maybe?"

"Company that goes eek is just what I was looking for." Blair bounced. "That way I can feel all manly and tough. Except for the parts where I go 'eek' as well."

Lavender bounced into the room. "Hi!"

"It's The Bracelet which was a Japanese movie first before the American Hollywood money machine thought they could make a quick buck off a story they didn't have to write." Blair grinned. "Which is what the video clerk told me."

"Hey neighbour." Buffy waved a little, smiling.

"Yay!" Willow got comfy on the couch. "So what are we watching? Hopefully not Halloween October 31. I totally freak out when nobody helps Jamie Lee Curtis."

"Hey there." Blair smiled. "We're watching scary movies!"

Dawn grinned. "If it makes you feel any better, they started out as Buffy's anyway. So it's kind of like you ruined your own shoes."

"What's scary about them?" Lavender plopped down on the couch.

"Nope, no non-helping-Jamie movies." Blair pointed to the tv. "This is The Bracelet. Which when it comes right down to it, I'm not sure why it's called that. I think it should be called the Mirror, or the Phone Call, or The Creepy Girl Who Has Some Sort of Palsy and Needs to Wash Her Hair."

"Am I the only one who wonders why they just don't run away?" Willow asked. "I mean yeah, sure, TV not doing what you want it to is annoying at the best of times, but it's not as though she moves very quickly."

"Hi! I'm Lavender." Lavender waved. She'd never met Buffy the person, though she enjoyed puppy!Buffy.
