Fifth floor common room, Monday after 1st period

Having spent pretty much the entire day yesterday hiding in her bed, Nadia decided to do something interesting today. Not cooking, she did that all the time, but something that was new and different, even for Fandom.

Which is why she's spread out an enormous piece of paper in the corner of the room (away from the television and the kitchen, so she wasn't completely taking over), lined the edges with buckets of paint, rolled up her pants to just below her knees and was currently very slowly and very carefully dancing on the paper with paint covered feet.

She's humming to herself, and the paper is most certainly large enough for dance partners.

[ooc: Yes, she's painting with her feet. And yes, the post is open. Not just for foot-painting, either.]

Anders had a cup of coffee halfway to his mouth and both eyebrows halfway to recently-demoted Pluto as he stood in the doorway.

"Funky form of exercise, or instructional charts for dance class?"

Marty had been wandering around the dorm after his first period class and stopped when he saw Nadia "painting."

"This isn't the result of some dream interpretation, is it?" Marty asked in a light tone of voice.

"Well, you get five million points for creativity." Anders grinned. "If this is part of the secret plan, though, better hide the artwork afterward."

"Is there something wrong with your hands?" Cally asked, wandering in.

"Sure, why not?" Anders kicked off his shoes, toed his socks off, and stuck his toes into a bucket of blue paint before stepping onto the paper. "Whoa. Slippery."

"Is there something wrong with your brain?"

Anders did a weird little spirally doodle with the blue paint, then used some red and yellow to do a C-Bucs logo (because he's so predictable sometimes) above it.

"Kind of like figure skating without the freezing your ass off."

"Okay," Cally said. "Crazy girl." She went to pour herself a bowl of Count Chocula.

"Walter ask you to Homecoming yet?"

"Well, yeah. You don't lose the drawings you make when the ice melts, for one."

[identity profile] sogothcally.livejournal.com 2006-10-02 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yep," Cally said, smiling like an idiot. "Might be tryin' to help Bel with cindering up Phoebe for Homecoming, too."

"And then run the risk of losing body parts to frostbite."

"He's trying to give Phoebe a fairy tale Homecoming or something," Cally said. "I'm gonna try to help, if I can."

"I don't remember that being part of the story," Cally said. "I think he woulda mentioned that."
