Pip was feeling a bit useless about Walter. He was a fighter, not a researcher or a doctor.

So he was dealing with his feelings the best way he knew how, he was hitting the bejeezus out of the hanging bag.

Pippi is wandering around waiting for Phale (http://a-phale.livejournal.com/61752.html?thread=1918264#t1918264) to call her back. She hadn't really got to spend much time with Pip since last weekend, so she looked in the likely place.

"Here I am," Pip responded, slamming a leg into the bag.

"How are you?" she asked watching him.

"My friend is dying. I guess I feel the same way you do."

Pippi didn't really have anything to say to that, so she just reached out and placed a hand on the back of the bag to steady it.

Pip nodded, stepped back, and delivered a spinning roundhouse.

Pippi watched him kick the crap out of the bag.

"Does that help?"

"Not really. But it feels like it should somehow."

"I tried cookies." Pippi said. "With much the same results."

"Well, this might also make me more fit, so I suppose it's getting something done."

"It was tasty though." Pippi said looking sullin.
