5th floor common room: After Trick-or-Treating: Scary Movies!

After trick-or-treating her way through town with Molly, Ray, Luke, Dean, Cam, Sam, Dawn, Alec, Alanna and Faithful, Buffy went into the common room and began setting things up for scary movie marathon. She'd bought a bunch of movies at Empire Records, and brought her own copy of Stab. Hopefully this would be enough.

She was keeping her skull-bag with her at all times (my candy! mine!), but had made limonade, put out coke, and popped popcorn so even if you hadn't gone trick-or-treating, here there would be junk food.

(tiny bit of ocd ~~coming~~ up! Other movies will be added as people decide what to watch.)

"Okay so how old is too old for the trick or treating because that was...I can't think of a positive enough word."

Seely wandered into the common room, trying to pretend a) he had the weetiny pumpkins clinging to him on purpose, and b) he wasn't orange.

Buffy giggled. "Yay sugar!"

Of course the first thing Buffy said was: "Oh my god, pumpkin!" and "Wow. You're orange."

"Yeah," Seely grimaced. "They seem to have attached themselves to me."

"The candy, the dressing up nowIunderstandmydadalittlebetter, there's no bad here." he grinned.

Billy did a double take. "Cool costume."

Seely surreptitiously rubbed at one hand, trying to get the orange off. "Costume, right."

"Maybe they think you're their father," Buffy suggested with a grin. She blinked suddenly. "They have teeth?"

Buffy nodded firmly. "It's all good. Did you get much yummy candy?"

Seely looked worried. "I don't think so. I mean, I don't feel bitten."

"I did indeed. And I absolutely never considered changing costumes and going back around."

"What, uh, are you a were-pumpkin?"

"" Seely muttered. "Actually more of a Jack O'Lantern."

"That's pretty cool." Billy said. He picked up his discarded motorcycle helmet, painted to look like a jack o' lantern. "That's kind of what I was. Or at least part of it."

Buffy tilted her head. "Maybe it was just your zipper-thing. But you should be careful. You don't wanna turn into a pumpkin at midnight, do you?"

Seely's frown deepened. "You don't think that'd happen would you?"

Seely tilted his head to look at the helmet. "Nice paintjob."

"Thanks. the visor was the hard part. Making sure I could still see."

Buffy snickered. "Around here they'd probably know, and take your candy away instead."

"I don't know." Buffy shrugged and popped a piece of candy into her mouth. "I was a puppy."

Seely grinned. "I bet you made a cuter puppy than I did puppet."

"I could see how that might have been a concern."

"No sense literally being something going bump in the night."

"yeah, they do have this disturbing habit of knowing things."
