Outside hunting class - 7th period

Blair was very excited for his trip tonight, so he had decided to hand out lollipops. Luckily, he found ones that helped with his message.

He was also writing down ideas for car games in his notebook. "License plate bingo. Name that tune. Cow spotters. What else?"

Setsuna knew she shouldn't, not after the arguement from last week, but it was almost as if she was being drawn there by forces beyond her control, forces that fed off conflict. She could feel the disappointment radiating off those forces when she showed up at the protest spot and did not find any deeply objectionable signs.

"Lollipops?" she said. "Much better than hugs." She was going to add 'especially for demons,' but she had no real evidence as to whether or not demons liked lollipops. She did, but that might be her human side.

...She wondered when her next job might come in. And if Mana would be particularly objectionable to testing that theory.

Blair grinned and held out a lollipop. "They could be combined. Like you have to hug in order to get one?"

Setsuna frowned, eyeing the held-out lollipop as the condition was being given. "I don't think that's very fair."

"You get something you like, I get something I like...I'm not seeing the unfair part." Blair said, grinning. He didn't really care whether or not Setsuna gave him a hug, but it was sort of fun to argue.

"Yes, but by giving the lollipop, you are, I expect, not experiencing anything deemed unpleasant. By giving the hug, however...It is not an equal trade. If the giver of the hug liked hugs like he or she liked lollipops, then it would be fair. However, if the giver does not like hugs, then he or she is compromising themselves for the sake of a gain, while the giver of the lollipop is not, thus putting the giver of the lollipop in a position of power, albeit small, of the now subjugated giver of the hug."

Blair blinked at her and tossed the sucker. "You win."

Setsuna laughed a little as she caught the sucker. "See, and now I want to give you a hug, anyway, because now I feel like this is a gain earned out of your loss in the terms of the arguement and...Yeah, I'll just shut up now." And she did so with the sucker, promptly putting in her mouth to halt her words. Because, really, she could go on like this for ages.

Bel headed toward class, head down, avoiding looking at anyone.

John glanced over at Blair when he exited the class and was just thankful that there was nothing advocating hugs this week.

"Heads up!" Blair called before tossing a sucker at Bel.

Blair had been watching for John to come out and bounced forward. "I didn't sleep with Dean!"

Bel spun, growling as he instinctively tossed a fireball and incinerated the sucker.

"So does that me we can hug?" Blair bounced, holding out his arms.

Blair hit the floor in the classic 'please don't flambe me' pose.

Yes because that was exactly something John wanted brought up and discussed as often as possible. "I know," he said with weary patience.

"Just so we have that clear." Blair nodded. "No one slept with anyone. Especially not me and Dean. Well, I did sleep with him but not in the, you know...biblical sense."

Setsuna drew in a dramaticly big breath. "Oh, sure, why the heck not?" She was in a good mood, after all, and gave Blair a hug.

"So Dean told me." Most awkward paternal conversation he'd had so far.

"Yay!" Blair gave Setsuna a very bouncy hug.

"Good. I'm glad you guys got it all straight." Blair said. "Not that there's anything wrong with someone sleeping with Dean or two guys sleeping together. Just not me and Dean."

Bel blinked, staring at his hand. "Sorry," he mumbled.

Setsuna chuckled a little, extracting herself from the hug as soon as it was unawkwardly possible. "Doesn't take much to make you happy, does it?" she commented.

"Something you want to talk about?" Blair blinked and stood slowly.

"Nope!" Blair grinned and held out another sucker. "Here, you can pass one on to someone else."
