4th floor Common Room: Sunday Evening

After getting back from the Wilson family Thanksgiving, Blair had spent most of Sunday sleeping off his Turkey overdose. Now he was bored and flipping through the channels in the common room, trying to find something interesting.

"Oooh! Mythbusters!"

Jude padded into the common room in search of company. Moping around his room was totally not cool. If he were older he'd be out drinking.

"Jude?" Blair looked up from something exploding on screen to greet his friend. "You okay, man?"

"My family is weird." Broots told Blair as he came into the room.

Jude flopped down on a couch with a sigh. "Setsuna dumped me like three weeks ago and I thought I was cool with it, but I'm totally not, bro," he said succinctly. "Sweet, exploding stuff."

"Most families are." Blair grinned. "What makes yours weird?"

"Setsuna has issues, man. You totally deserve better." Blair nodded. "But sorry about the dumping thing."

Broots made a vague guester. "The just are."

Willow came in and took a seat. "Hey Blair. Which episode are we watching?"

"Hey Willow!" Blair grinned. "The one where they make explode jawbreakers. I love these guys."

"How was your Thanksgiving?"

Late in the evening, Billy came in, his knuckles red and scraped. "Hey Blair."

"Oooo - neat!" Willow said. "I loved the one where they made a car-sized trebuchet."

Billy waved cheerfully at Willow.

"I liked where they painted themselves gold. Or they grew moss on a rolling stone." Blair bounced. "Or when they broke glasses with only their voices!"

"Or when they tried to find out if a ceiling fan could decapitate somebody!" Willow said, bouncing back.

"Glad to see you survived a week with no school."

"Yeah, I really think they did that one wrong." Blair nodded. "They should have tested it with a full body below the head. I think without that extra weight the experiment was flawed."

"Not much, just got back from DC."

"Do I deserve better?" Jude asked plaintively, tilting his head back. "I mean, 'Sun - Setsuna was a pretty cool girlfriend. Totally saved me from dragons."

"Yeah, their scientific methods can be a bit flawed," Willow said. "Which gets so frustrating when they call something Busted when really it could've just been their test."

"Is that where you had Thanksgiving?" Blair asked. "Was it fun?"

"I know!" Blair said. "I've written several strongly worded emails."

"You deserve the best, man." Blair smiled. "Is there anybody you've seen around school that you've been interested in?"
