4th Floor Common Room, Wednsday Night

There were Pizza rolls fresh from the oven, and billy was idly munching on some with a pad of paper on his lap, and something on the TV. He was jotting things down on the paper and not really paying much attention until the announcer said:

Tonight on Larry King Live, we talk to General Clayton Abernathy, former commander of the recently de-classified Anti-Terrorist Task-Force code named, G.I.Joe.

Billy facepalmed. Man that was a lot of hyphens.

billy will very much not mind changing the channel.

The smell of pizza drew her and she walked in happy as you please, spotted Billy, and sat down beside him on the couch.

"Hey, Billy. What you eatin'?"

Conner needed a distraction after his traumatizing afternoon, and smelled pizza rolls.

"Billy, dude," he said, strolling into the common room a floor up from his. "What's on?"

Tori didn't want to go to sleep just yet, so her wanderings found her on a floor above hers.

"Hey Billy!" Tori smiled. "Anything good on TV?"

Waved at Tori. "Hey, Tori!"

Did a little finger wave at the guy she had not met yet. "Hey."

"Hey Annette. How's it going?"

"Pretty good. How's things with you? Classes keeping you busy?"

"Awesome, thanks. Conflict Management was the only class I've had so far. So, I've been attempting to find ways to pass the time." Tori grinned. "You?"

"I had Spy Tech this morning and I think I am going to really enjoy it. I have Tremble Foolish Mortals tomorrow, fifth period." She smiled. "Do you have a class tomorrow?"

Hello cute new girl. "Hey, there," Conner said with one of his broadest grins.

"Spy Tech, that sounds cool." Tori smiled, intrigued. "I have Folklore and Fact: Mystical Artifacts in the Modern World, second period."

Oh. Now he was cute. She offered him back a bright smile. "I'm Annette. From the fifth floor. I smelled pizza." Er....

"Yeah, lots of nifty little gadgets to play with." Annette did hope that she got to play with many of them. How cool would that be?

"Oh, Tori, that class sounds interesting!"

Well, witty repartee wasn't that high on Conner's list of priorities anyway. "So did I. Ever notice how pizza tends to bring people together?"

. . . see?

"Uh. Right! Conner McKnight, third floor. That's Conner with an -er, by the way." Hey, that part was important. Had to get it established right off.

"Sounds like you're going to have lots of fun then." Tori remarked.

"Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it." She admitted, excitedly.

"Like popcorn." She grinned and arched a brow. "Nice to meet you Conner."

Okay, she was fine now. Really. Dumb moment over. Okay, it's not like she was dumb before. That wide grin of his had just thrown her off for a second or two. Maybe three.

"Want to steal some of Billy's popcorn, er, pizza?"

"I hope. I have classes Monday through Thursday so I am keeping pretty busy. Not too much though, as you can see."

"You'll have to tell me how it went after class tomorrow." She said, genuinely interested.

"Hey Annette." he smiled. "Pizza rolls, pepperoni. Want some?"

"At the moment, Larry King Live. Feel free to change the channel though."

Larry was asking Gen. Abernathy why his team had been de-classified.

"Thought you'd never ask." She grinned. "So, how's things going tonight. Busy?" She indicated his pad of paper with a slight nod of her head.

"Hey." he greeted. "I'm not really paying attention, looks like Larry King, but I'm not averse to something else."

Gen. Abernathy was explaining to Larry that very little was actually known about the blue clad man in the blurry photograph.

"Naw, dude, that's fine. The less interesting the better right now, far as I'm concerned."

Conner did seem to be way more interested in the show than he really should be.

It was sort of like brain bleach.

Tori chuckled. "Yeah, I'm attempting to keep busy, but that's not happening right now. I'm sure once the semester progresses, school work will help me manage my time."

She nodded. "I definitely will." She could not wait.

Yay, she got the emphasis right. Conner was pleased by this.

"Sure!" he said, cheerfully oblivious to the verbal gaffe. "You don't think he'll mind, do you?"

"I really have no idea what the TV schedule is like around here. I haven't been watching much." She admitted, joining him on the couch.
