5th Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon

After a strange conversation with Phoebe, Bel headed to the common room. Spreading some love and joy would brighten his mood.

The common room was a mess after the party from the night before. Bel waved his hand, setting the room to right. The walls and furniture became bright and cheery colors, and plates of nutritious yet delicious snacks and glasses of orange juice filled the tables. The TV was playing "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (because people helping other people was quality entertainment suitable for all ages).

He left the glitter, however, because glitter was always fun.

Sandy came rushing down the hall into the common room.

She's clearly distressed and isn't entirely sure where to go.

"Hello!" Bel said, smiling. He cocked his head at the girl's distressed look. "Is something wrong? Can I help you?"

Brian needed someplace to work on his wardrobe. He should have people to do this for him, but he couldn't find any of them.

Ah well, you can't be on the leading edge of glam without having had to sequin your own clothes in the past.

But this place was so... straight.

This chap was pretty, though. "Well hello there."

"Good afternoon!" Bel said, smiling brightly.

"I think something terrible happened to my boyfriend!" Sandy replied with a Brazilian accent.

"And good afternoon to you." Brian set his armload of purchases from All & Sundries down and approached the boy, circling him and giving him a frank look of appraisal. "My name is Brian. Brian Slade."

Clearly he expected the boy to know the name.

"Is he hurt?" Bel said, concerned. "Maybe I can heal him."

"Nice to meet you," Bel said, not recognizing the name at all. "I'm Belthazor."

"I don't know. He's wearing an eyepatch and he's got scars he didn't have last night and... He looks like my boyfriend he's more muscular and quite frankly a better kisser I hope not... I kinda hope I just had waaay too much to drink and came home with somebody who looked like him or something but..."

Oh god what had she done last night with the guy who looked like Andre but wasn't?

Flailing commences.

Dick had been patrolling the floors, making sure everything was safe. When he entered the 5th floor common room he immediately got a glass of orange juice.

Young wards needed their vitamin C.

Brian reached out to take Belthazor's hand, possibly for a handshake. Possibly. "What an interesting name, Belthazor. Are you as interesting as your name?"

"There, there, it will be all right," Bel said soothingly, holding out his arms in an attempt to give Sandy a big hug.

"I try to be," Bel said, allowing the handshake (or whatever it could be) because physical affection was to be encouraged. "It's my duty to spread love and happiness in the name of goodness."

"Good afternoon," Bel said with a friendly smile. "Please, take all you wish."

After her not so good lunch at Luke's Diner, Annette wandered into the common room on her own floor.

And she stopped and stared. What is going on here? Why were people she knew talking weird?

What in the name of everything that's holy is going on?!

"Thank you!" says Dick. "I try to stay away from unhealthy foods. Gotta keep in top physical form."

"Dick Grayson." says Dick, holding out his hand.

Oh, wasn't that just sweet? Brian held Belthazor's hand in both of his, quite likely doing a bit more finger stroking than was usual in a standard handshake.

"I like to spread love myself."

"Good morning, miss," Bel greeted her. "Help yourself to some orange juice and some healthy snacks."

"Then we're going to get along just fine," Bel said, totally allowing the finger stroking.

"Belthazor," Bel said, shaking Dick's hand. "Are you an athlete?"

Sandy needs a big hug.

Bel might recognize her from her Loreal (http://farm1.static.flickr.com/107/287449958_ccb8b38275_o.png) ads on TV. Or maybe he doesn't, she doesn't care right now.

There might even be tears and boo hoo'ing.

Bel hugged her tight, letting her cry on his shoulder. He didn't even mind mascara staining his blazingly white robes. He patted Sandy on the back comfortingly.

"You look a little distressed," Bel noted. "Is something wrong? Can I help you with anything?"

"I'm sorry, this is very silly of me. I'm sure he's fine, he'll probably be mad at me for thinking that other guy was him but hopefully we can work that out."
